    .

I would but I don't know how to! Also, I don't know what to choose! It just depends on personal preference because I do a wide range of things.

My business cards came today, I'm so thrilled.

I was just thinking of you today, I went to see my nephews new adapted bungalow and I remembered your posts on housing and that he is about your age (25?)

His friend has also got a bungalow a couple of doors away, they are both deaf and my nephew has CP but most people dont notice it.

If he can have an adapted bungalow so should you and every other young disabled person (that wants to) who can prove need, age dosnt make you disabled, just a bit more likely to have certain conditions and it certainly shouldnt mean that there is a catagory of housing just for the aged.

I hope if they are vista print that you didnt cross the box for extra goodies or something because they charge you £10pm for the privalige but id you watch your statements and realise pretty quick they will refund you (my son is 14 and he has his own little buisness and got his own cards done)

Yeah I was discriminated against because of my age but I went through CAB and found and advisor to help me and things are being sorted. My application is now pending (even though they sent me a letter saying I was put in band D blah blah) so I just have to wait and if I'm not put in an appropriate priority band then it will be another fight.

I did go through vistaprint, but I'm always careful as I read about that problem before I started using them a year or two ago. They've actually come out really really well so I am very pleased.

I've used vistaprint for years for my business cards, I used to change them every year....now I have enough to last me for about the next two decades!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Had my DLA letter that confirms the increase : phew : now to get the bus pass sorted out, not that it's been used overly much, but it's a nice to have 'just in case'.

Reading about temperature regulation above, I tend to be overly warm in bed - perhaps that's why I attract the cats, or at least the heavy ones .... But if I'm not careful when out & about my fingers and hands (and toes) go ivory white and numb before coming back to life in a blaze of painful reds/purples and blues - at least the last attack was in front of the GP and she was worried in case I was having a heart attack!, even in summer I have to be careful when I pass a refrigerated unit in the supermarket !

Anyway, had a look around and found out some things on the PIP to be introduced sometime no doubt.

Must say the Cafe remains lively; so, as I've done in the past, I'll leave some chocolate cake, fruited scones and trifle on the side for you to 'dip' into ...

    Slainte !

GET THE BUS PASS.....Seriously...will get you no end of discount at other places like cinema/anywhere it says concessions/elderly/disabled basically. So even if you don't use the bus too much use it for discounts...

Thanks I'm just starting hat and card making so will check it out when have some spare cash :)

Currently I just have a facebook page and a website (nothing on it though. Got free hosting. Just paid £30 for the domains) and I make my own labels to advertise on the back of cards. Currently I'm decorating though so little work is getting done :)

    Budget for decorating is thus

    • Paint and rollers (2 of each 9" cheap and small cheap"...think £3 ea and £2 ea respectively with trays that are a little flimsy but okay. B& Q on offer = £36
    • Paint (charity shop - old crown . Did the lounge all over one coat...ages ago) -£16
    • Drapes and fabric - £12
    • Blinds £30
    • Scrap of carpet to lay next to my £10 blue off cut = FREE

    TOTAL = £88 :D and I had more than enough paint :)

Has been like work experience for the week. :).... Know I'd want to do something physical work wise but whilst I have survived this week have been very grumpy with tiredness and can't do much more than a week of it before the exhaustion would make me ill. Making me rethink (but not rule out) work etc....

    Have a good day ppls

    Hugs

Hello all, just had a quick catch up - I sometimes think the entire house is a music room, guitars and amps are everywhere, son has played semi-pro for years in a round the clubs, weddings and barmitzvahs covers band. None of my friends have a bass and an acoustic guitar as "ornaments" in their lounge... FP, just gave you a 'like'. I'm off to Cornwall for Easter, hope to God my hip holds up.. tummy and bladder behave ... Hope you all have something good to look forward to.

Bass guitar & amp in front room where normal people have a coffee table. The amp is useful as an additional seat :)

Effects board on top of bookcase. Bookcase full of CDs and books relating to music.

5 packs of 9v batteries in kitchen drawer.

Bodhran in case waiting to be given a nice hook to hang it on currently behind the sofa.

Bass guitar flight case behind armchair, soft case between armchair and radiator.

Piles of books, sheet music and tab by stereo.

Two speakers from old PA stack attached to stereo.

Three acoustic guitars in wardrobe waiting for hooks to be put in stairwell.

Keyboard in DD's room. Pedals ready to trip over.

2 sets of sticks and 1 set of brushes with various drum books on DD's bed. Assorted percussion instruments (tambour, cowbells, castanets, maracas, etc) lurking in cupboard.

Loft filled with speakers of varying size.

According to my bass tutor, my house is perfectly normal.
