I'd given up for years then started again after a bereavement, then with the support & help of the giving up smoking thread & the WONDERFUL SueUU :A who ran it, I have now been free from the evil nicotina for over 3 years :j.

I used to have a little mantra that I'd post when struggling:

I can do it, I can, I can, I can.
I will do it, I will, I will, I will .


Sweetheart, with what you've battled & vanquished in the last couple of years, this will be childs play :cool:

Today consisted of WWs but stayed the same unfortunately.lymphodema appointment and then back home for gas man...neither fires needed any parts just a good service and then little grand daughter was around for a couple of hours...then chinese and a couple of hours with DH.
Train tickets arrived yesterday and insurance documents for signing..so they've been signed and I'll pop to the insurers tomorrow to sort that out.

Tomorrows list....

Bank
Lymphodema clinic
Insurance place
hoover downstairs
washing up
washing
clean bathroom

think that will be more than enough for tomorrow

Yes it will be! Good about the train tickets, slightly sad you've reached a plateau at WW - with so many big losses, that must feel bad - but I guess it happens to everyone at some stage. Just stay with it, you're still going in the right direction remember

hi Taxi, you've made amazing progress with your weight loss, i know you plateau'd this week but it's probably your body gathering itself together ready for the next stage, also great news on the quitting smoking i'm convinced with your can do attitude this will be the time that you achieve it.

Thanks..not been about as not got anything to say really.Not had a ciggy for 11 days now so am pleased with myself.Everything is just plodding along nicely and been out for a couple of walks and that's about it really...nothing exciting
