I would love to go there..so you're not far off the mark...I told my 24 year old daughter this and she said that it was full of drugs and that I'd not like it there but I'm sure I will:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ah, I think there is probably a druggie element, but apparently there are loads of quiet fields where hippies sit around and do reiki and stuff, so I think there's something for everyone! :p

It's not on next year (to give the land a rest), but you can apply online now for regestration for tickets for 2013. I've never been and I'm going to apply, as I think it's one of those things you *have* to do at least once in a lifetime, so apply too and we can do the :money: dance in front of The Pyramid Stage! :D

I agree it definitely needs doing at least once Pickle

The drive was what sent us on a coach instead but I now think the drive will be worth it

LOL to the role reversal. :rotfl: We've had similar exchanges with one of ours recently - he seems to think we should slow down a bit - no chance ;)

Glad you had a good time in Devon. It is a beautiful county.
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Hi Taxi! Your holiday sounds gorgeous! You can only learn the combo of stuff thats right for you by experience, truly, and I'm glad its made you want more.

Glasto ... wow! Thats an idea to apply for tickets now for 2013 .... there's no financial layout now, I suppose .... you know, I might do that, I was never a festival-goer, but yes, everyone should do it once. I currently haven't been successful with any of the Olympic tickets I applied for, so a festival might be the right answer :)

So true ..... it might sound morbid, but if it helps us to live more fully, then its absolutely not.

Have just booked and paid my deposit for an appartment in a villa in Devon for next May.We are going for a fortnight and know exactly where it is as we walked past it whilst there and I said to DH that I wouldn't mind staying there..it's right on babbacome downs which is absolutely beautiful. We plan on driving there and getting weekly passes for the buses as the bus stop is at the top of the road.
So something to look forward to
