ditto to that, its the thought of the loos as well that put me off!! xx
me too! My friend who's a regular festival goer takes marigold and cleaner and won't use the toilets until she's cleaned it through. lots of people stick in the queue until she's finished using it so they get a nice clean one. lol0 -
hugs hope today went well0

What a tiring day...
Pain management clinic was a disappointment as I was given morphine patches and booked in for a cortisone injection into my spine....that is at least a 32 week wait !!!!!!....they no longer do accupuncture there due to cut backs even though he highly recommends it for me.So,I've got an appointment tommorrow to see DR to see where I can get it from...i certainly do not want to be on morphine or have an injection.
Am just wondering whether to claim DLA as looks like these problems will be going on for a long time.
Had lunch at hospital as wasn't worth coming home and going back before going for ultrasound...don't know how long before I get the results but he did pass comment on how much fluid was in there and then my back went into spasm and he finished quite quickly after that...so am hoping that's a good sign.
After that popped to DRs to make an appointment and then onto shop for potatoes...
not a scrap of housework done all day,0 -
I would def look into DLA again, I had my form filled in by a lady from the council who deals all day with them, the way i looked at it, what would take me 100 words to say she'd get done on 10 words. Yet for me, they've wrote to my GP, but he knows what state I'm in, tonight I walked from the car to the chippie (not good for the figure), but just spent 2 1/2 hrs at a goveners meeting, it was only 20 yards, but it felt like a marathon. So its fingers crossed, as it should have sorted by end June, but the docs report has extended that.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

That *is* a disappointment ... sorry to hear that, Taxi.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

That is so disappointing and, unfortunately, how things are going with the NHS. It's certainly worth trying different avenues for help and, also, not letting them fob you off! (((Taxi)))But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0

Have been to DRs this morning and the DR I saw was lovely but not from this area and so after surgery he will talk with his colleagues to find out what is available and then phone me...
Had a look on the councils licensing site as accupuncturists have to be registered and there are none registered which is a worry as there are a few in the area...it's such a minefield out there...this must mean they are operating illegally.0 -
Not sure which council site you mean, Taxi, but I found these:
http://www.acupuncture.org.uk/
http://www.medical-acupuncture.co.uk/
http://www.acupuncturesociety.org.uk/
And there's also this lot, who are the accrediting body for training acupuncturists ...
http://www.baab.co.uk/
It all looks pretty complicated, but the first three should all have referral systems.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I hope the acupuncturist can help you, taxi. I had really good results from acupuncture a couple of times in the past, I would highly recommend it.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
