Washing is on line...just need to go to bank and then to home bargains to get toilet rolls and bits.
SIL phoned this morning at 9.30am to say that she's managed to get all the festival tickets for me(the same ones as hers)...they are getting posted out to her today...so that's a relief...so everything sorted now.
Have just checked all the bank accounts and have moved the 3 x£5 halifax bonus into the Isa along with our 2 savings accounts that had interest paid on them the other day into the Isas and DHs pension payment into the Isa.
Am still debating where to take the money from for the festival.DH said to take £1k out of the savings but I don't like to see the balance go down..
I was going to pay the final £436 off the Cuba holiday this month but it isn't due to be paid until end of October so think I may take that and take the difference from the main bank account using a bit of the overdraft if needs be..as the overdraft is only 50p per day and will only be overdrawn for a few days....I can't take the bank card for the main account as DH will need it for fuel for the cab whilst I'm away and also the place we are going to is quite small plus it's a bank holiday and guess they won't have many cash machines and if they do they may run out...i can put what's left back in the bank when I come back....am really looking forward to it though...0 -

Cuba, and a festival? I missed all this with being offline! Brilliant! And whats the festival, Taxi? Where? How exciting! Have you booked any tickets for the Olympics?2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Cuba is my big holiday at the end of Jan...3 weeks away chilling out with DH.
The festival is a Blues festival at Hebden bridge bank holiday weekend at the end of May.My SIL had booked it for herself and I said that sounds like fun..so she checked there was a spare space at the hotel and there was...then I bought train tickets and Wellies and she rang the ticket line this morning(as it was shut until today) and got me the same tickets as hers...so will be fun...plenty of girlie time..I'll be away from the friday until the wednesday.
Haven't booked any tickets for the olympics as don't particularly fancy it...will watch it on tv maybe.0 -
Hi Taxi. We were in Blackpool yesterday afternoon and it was really quiet. We went to Madame Tussauds and it was so empty it felt like our own personal tour. It was great lol
I love Hebden Bridge too, all the quirky little shops selling crystals and things, can't resist going in those :-)
You've got some lovely things coming up Taxi.

Hi again! How spooky that I popped into your mind! Things ok here thank you although always a challenge as we all know. Thanks re: signature. I finally got my debt free status last July (unless you count the mortgage - yikes!!!) but as I say things are challenging and every month is a battle but hey, after 21 bl**dy years in debt, I'd rather be where I am now than where I was.
But tis not about me tis about YOU! Good for you with the Cuba trip especially, I am very envious I would love to go to Cuba. I hope you have a wicked time my lovely.
