    Hiya sweetie,

crrrrrumbs - that's a very budgetty grocery budget for 3 adults. I really need to get a grip on mine, as you know ...

My saving funds are my pride & joy - such a geek :rotfl: & also serve as an emergency fund when necessary.

I get so excited each time I add to them :o

Don't know whether £50 per week will be enough but time will tell.

Hey taxi weezl's challenge is feeding a family of four for 80p per day per person ... the prices have changed slightly in the shops but it is not too far away from that ... the portion sizes are huge ... it might be worth a try for you to have a go ... i have to admit i dont mind the meals ( we do the veggie option) but i still feel like i am missing out on my veg and fruit ( even though it has plenty of veg in it ) as i am used to eating my veg etc a different way ... it has alot of rice pasta bread etc in it ... so is bad carb heavy but it is possible to do ... personally i will try it this month then i think next month i will use it but mix my own stuff in as well ( yes it will come to more than 80p per day for sure)

just an idea if your thinking about budgets

Thanlks EL will have a look.I luckily don't have to be skimpy on the food budget but it'll be interesting to see what our food budget costs..£50 per week was a figure I plucked from fresh air.

Have been to WWs and have lost 3lbs and got another silver 7 so am happy with that.
