Number 5 done and dusted....so 10 to go...third done..yay.
DS3 bought me a lovely box of Thorntons chocolates around this afternoon...they are yummy..

As for the holiday...cos we can't go premier and no other airline flies there then why should I pay full price so we are thinking of taking our chances and getting a last minute deal.
In the mean time we'll keep looking to see if anything takes our fancy

One third done already, Taxi! Thats excellent! About the holiday - I suppose I don't like the thought of you being somewhere other than where you want to be. But you need premier seats for a flight of that length? Very frustrating for you. Maybe the next few months will make things clearer.

This holiday needs to be just right for you, you sure have earned it.
Sounds funny, but I cant think where I would go, love the sun but just cant imagine ever having the money to go anywhere exotic & not a fan of long haul. Would love to travel east, but on a long luxurious boat voyage rather than plane. As if !

was thinking about a cruise but can't work out the prices or whether they include flights..will keep looking.We always go long haul as need to go away when it's quietest on the cab..which is jan/feb time.

Hi Taxi, my Mum goes cruising two or three times a year, on long haul destination cruises and she upgrades her flight. She always uses a company called Bolsover Travel, who only do cruises. They might have something that will suit you and they are friendly and enter into finding something that is a great buy. She does a last minute booking (sometimes a couple of weeks before or sometimes just a few days). Her last one included visiting Tahiti, it sounded idyllic.
