Very busy and I feel like a real meanie, we had a temp in to cover reception but she was Polish and her English was very poor. I had to ask the Agency not to send her back tomorrow, just feels mean to deprive someone of work.

Sorry to hear that hon, although it would feel mean the agency have a duty to provide you with temporary staff who are able to fulfill the work brief. If that wasnt her then the agency should feel bad not you. Likewise she should be realistic about her skills until such times as she can conduct reception work effectively. X
