  • Hey stranger.

An ipod shuffle indeed - you are a lucky girl

Glad you are 'peaceful' and you are right, it is to be cherished, because its a feeling we don't always get and when we do, we sometimes ignore it!

I totally empathise with the fuel bills. I have a 60 mile round trip to work and also drive alot during working hours. Of course I can claim this back but I have to find the money to buy the fuel first. A couple of months ago I had to pull a sickie only because I didn't have fuel or money!!!! We have been asked to cut down on our mileage and LOL mine, because they changed my job, has gone up!! So far in September I have totted up 300 claimable miles!

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!

    hey red!!!

good to know someone who feels my pain on the fuel!!! aside from rent and debt it is my next most biggest outgoing! debt being biggest, rent next and fuel third. I cant wait for the day when it is cheaper!! :D

yes I was very pleased with my shuffle. my ipod was stolen when my car was broken into earlier this year and i have really missed it when out running etc, so to have it replaced for me was fab :D also my mobile phone broke a short while ago which left me with no camera, my replacement phone is just a cheapy £20 no frills job so my digital camera from mum and dad made me extremely happy to. all is good! right i'd best get my butt into gear or i shall be completely wasting my restday and that 10 mile run just aint gonna happen!! :D

well this week i have been a very good girl. as it was my birthday on sunday i was, of course expected to buy the obligatory cakes for the office when i went back in on wednesday. i've never understood that, and in our office it is so expected that they asked me 4 times when i was going to get them! and they arent happy with just a bag of £1 donuts this crew, oh no!! individually ordered cakes this is!

Must be something in the water down there - we're *very* happy with doughnuts up here... :D

I have had one can of coke all week and no redbull (previously my nemesis) since sunday.

Well done you - not drinking crap is always a good thing.

Ah, I think I actually said I didn't want "boredom".......

Peaceful is good. Excitement is also good, but only when you have the available energy for it :o

Ahhh Husky puppies, I want cuddles!

I didn't do the obligatory cakes as I was on holiday for my birthday, I thought someone would remind me but I got away with it! I only have £10 a week spending money and I didn't want to use it to feed the office!

Lovely to hear your in a happy place x

P, must be something to do with the places we work but they all want posh birthday cakes at my place as well. i bake a cake which is what i've always done and they can like it or lump it! generally the former though.
Petrol is also one of my biggest budgets, it just sucks! i know when i first started on this DFW road i used to take the receipts to the bank 3 times a week so that i could be paid mileage from petty cash and could afford to put that money in the car to get to work and back the following week. There's many a weekend though that i find excuses not to move my car so that i can wait another couple of days before i fill up.
