Hi everyone and thanks for the birthday wishes!! I had a lovely day. One of the girls at work up the corridor took me out for breakfast. then i went to meet mum and had a picnic and pressies in the park which was lovely, and just had 2 days with D up with him, we went to manchester airport plane spotting (was great fun saw the new a380 land, geek, me? you betcha!!) then went to chillfactor and checked out the price of skiing lessons which he wants to try so we'll go do that at some time. and then went for a long bike ride and got absolutely drenched yesterday!! loads of lovely cuddles and some nice (but healthy) food topped off a lovely few days. have to say that financially it wasnt overly expensive either, i pay for the fuel to get up there and back, we use D's car o run around in and then just go halves on food, think i spent about £25 and that came out of the nights out budget and my weekly spends (both of which now look amazingly light!) new weekly spend envelope tomorrow though and D and i have agreed no spendy fun for the rest of the month til hollymays!
so finances looking good, healthy diet and exercise will hopefully bring a drop on weighday friday, and all is good with the world

morning everyone!!! how are we all? well after a small period of absence without leave, under the guise of an exceptionally busy week at work, on my own, run off my feet followed by getting indoors and sleeping.... i thought i'd maybe better type a wee little uppy datey!!
well this week i have been a very good girl. as it was my birthday on sunday i was, of course expected to buy the obligatory cakes for the office when i went back in on wednesday. i've never understood that, and in our office it is so expected that they asked me 4 times when i was going to get them! and they arent happy with just a bag of £1 donuts this crew, oh no!! individually ordered cakes this is! must be nice to be rich and able to splash out that kind money on "people". aaaannnyway. off to tesco i trot, i bought cream eclairs custard tarts cookies the lot. got back to the office, did i have one? NO I DID NOT!!!:j:j then the next day was our sergeants birthday, he was smart and bought in home made cakes to avoid the evil glares. did i have some? NO I DID NOT!!!:j:j I have had one can of coke all week and no redbull (previously my nemesis) since sunday. I've cut out all the crap like crisps and all the sweets i used to eat resulting in..... A 3LB WEIGHT LOSS!!! :j:j:D:D:j:jdetermined to stick with it and i am off to run the 10 mile cycle route that D and I did on tuesday, rather hilly, all country lanes and will be a good challenge with my new birthday ipod shuffle.
Had a reeeeally bad day yesterday though, I've been having a bowl of alpen for breakfast each day but yesterday i ran out. I managed to find something kind of healthy to have but it wasnt the best i do admit! from that moment on my mind was playing the wierdest food !!!!!! for the rest of the day!! I was craving sugar, and sweets, and coke, and chocolate and cake and you name it if it was bad for me i wanted it!!:rotfl:at one point i was sat at my desk chanting "i am not hungry.. i am not hungry.. i am not hungry..." and getting some very bizarre looks!!:rotfl:
Financially a bit of a mixed bag this week. the envelope system is still going well, but the fuel account is getting very low and i am very aware that it is still 13 days til payday. I have about £47.90 in the fuel account (for those who dont know i have a massive fuel bill each month which frustrates me endlessly as a result of me living at one point of a triangle, my family and friends at another point and D at the third. none of my friends live close to me, think the nearest is about 35 mins away so add that together and i'm constantly drawing leonardos atlas with my carbon footprint all over the country!) I have just over £10 in loose change at home, my £20 spending money for this week is (for now) intact. and i have an additional £4 in my purse left over from last week :T I have quarter of a tank of fuel and a trip to cheshire and a trip to kent via norfolk to invade, sorry i mean see hypno, along with 9 trips to and from work to get through before payday, hmmm. i may get that out of a tank if i can fill up to full so maybe its not all as bad!!
Life feels good right now and that is something i am cherishing. I had a lovely night with 2 friends last night, the first lives in northampton and has husky puppies which i had lots of fat puppy cuddles with. then I drove to my other friends (see what i mean about leonadros atlas!!!!:cool:) took their gorgeous german shepherds for a walk (lost my phone in the middle of a plowed field in the dark, doh!:cool:) had a lovely veggie chilli and a good chat before coming home for a long lay in:D. I think peaceful times in your life are to be cherished and today I am feeling very peaceful indeed.
Happy saturday everyone.;):money::A:beer:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0
