    my dad never let us eat in his car and stil doesnt and im 27 now

    Surely the goods have been irreversably damaged, and are therefore not longer fit for sale? I just can't see how anyone can believe that this is okay. You may not have left the store, but you can't put the item back on the shelf either, so it has to be seen as taken.

    Okay, very funny, and in the grand scheme of things, a bit trivial, but it doesn't alter the fact that the item can't be put back. It is permanantly gone!
