I could never do this, having got to the checkout the other day and after having everything scanned and packed, realised that my purse was at home! Can you imagine if I had eaten something! Embarrasing enough when I hadn't!

:rotfl: The mental image that instigated has me giggling. A big hairy guy with a big beer belly thats not quite covered by his too small t-shirt with bits of pie and chicken staining his clothes.

Topped off by him holding his £10 note in his mouth.

I really can't see why people get so wound up by this:rotfl:. As already mentioned it doesn't actually affect anyone.

What about the people who hang around the entrance to shops/hospitals/public buildings smoking? Is that acceptable? That does affect people, why should I have to walk through someones stinking smoke?
I quite agree but there are some people who think 'bad manners' is not enough of a reason to stop behaving with such disrespect for others & THAT is "why people get so wound up by this" on here.
No-one is disputing there are worse things that could be happening, but to be able to live harmoniously we do have to consider the niceties that help sweeten Life a little. Watching the scenes on tv of folk scrabbling for water in the flood regions & not in any means trivialising the situation, I couldn't help thinking "we'd be in orderly queues over here" :p Just an example of how I/we expect our fellow humans to behave I suppose, with a little consideration for others.

  • Another question might be

"Why do people have to eat those ready cooked chickens out of the bag in the carpark?"

My local teso carpack is littered with the chicken bags - I could'nt figure it out where the bags came from.

But now I look for them theres usually at least one person eating a chicken in their car.

YOU CANT JUST EAT A WHOLE CHICKEN FROM A BAG!!!

    Can you?

I also do not understand why some people seem to find this so offensive. As I said in an earlier post I would not do it myself as I like to eat sitting down comfortably, but I do not have a problem with those that do. I open doors for people, say please and thank you all the time and wait my turn patiently in line etc etc.

I have more of a problem with those people that let the door shut on the person behind them and barge their way around the store or who all huddle together having a nice chat blocking the way for everyone than anything else.

Do we have another debate here?

Are people not allowed to eat in their own cars now as well?

Is eating confined to your own home or restaurant?

I think that seems to be the case. Maybe we shouldnt eat in restaurants either incase we offend people in there as well:eek::rotfl:

Of course you're allowed to eat in your own car!...unless you have one of those husbands with "car crumb phobia" :p

Its the fact they eat a WHOLE chicken. They just ate an entire bird as a snack. On its own. And they have no shame. And then they throw the packet out the window. And theres loads of these "Bird Snackers" where I live!

Are you a secret Bird Snacker?
