Why do adults have to eat around supermarkets?

Maybe if people would tell their little brats "no" and actually teach them to exercise some self control, they wouldn't grow into adults that walk around the supermarket thinking it is OK to pick things off the shelves and eating them?
Medical reasons are the only reasonable excuse.
My mum and dad occassionally let us eat in the supermarket (usually to keep us quiet!) and I have to say that as a adult I (or my brother's) never eat in the supermarket before paying for something and I would never dream of it either, so I'm sorry I don't agree with your statement!
I've never noticed any adults eating in the supermarket...obviously I'm too busy minding my own business.Mortgage-free wannabe 2025 £571/30000 -
I was at the supermarket earlier and there was a couple wandering about eating a peperami hot each then just chucked the packets down the back of some pallets of orange juice so clearly not intending on paying for what they've eaten. I'm not sure on this occasion which is worse, the fact they're thieves or the fact they ate a peperami
To me it's reasons like this that eating before you've paid for something should be banned in all supermarkets to avoid things like this happening. If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00 -

Northern Ireland. Still want to move here? :rotfl:
Quite a big town too, we've got plenty of problems, but thankfully this is one we don't seem to get!0 -
There is absolutely NO need for it adult or child. Why people cannot make sure they are fed before going shopping bemuses me and any parent who alllows their kids to graze in the store is irresponsible.:eek:0

As long as hes buying them whats the problem?0

It was an observation nothing more nothing less
Why don't you observe your own shopping and let people be. I'm sure you all have far more important things to cry about. If I'm doing my shopping and I am really thirsty and didn't bring my water bottle, I'm not doing to keep myself dehydrated, I'm going to get a bottle of water and have some. And yes, I do pay for it.
People on here are such bizarre creatures.0 -

Don't you have anything in your own life worth worrying about instead of how other people live their lives?0 -

Right, so your problem is people stealing the food, you don't actually have a problem with them eating it.
So why not treat the cause of the problem i.e. that people think it is OK to steal?0 -

It does sounds like a lot of the posters would probably turn a blind eye to other problems and still jump up and down in rage at the sandwich eaters.0
