They probably can't afford to eat with obscene rents like that :rotfl:
The sick fact is that one is saved as its CHEAP ( but I just cant live with that "garden"
In london the EAs seem to have stoped as they seem to prefer using the "outside space"
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Well no I wouldnt but thats the going rate for a one bed flat in North London in the slightly nice bits where youd want to live ( ie not gangland) as it is im not in the market for buying at all anyway, but we have to live somewhere!
If you had £350k you could buy something nice here instead :rotfl:
It might just be me but I hate London, too many people!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Delain Im never going to have anything like 350k unless the Euromillions pay out !
Until then it is crap appliances, "patio" gardens and the allure of the winning numbers.
I do love bournmouth area though, the countryside around is just so stunning . thats where OH is from. But our jobs and lives are here and we love it. Well, someone has to dont they! You dont want all us lot piling down and nicking what slim pickings there are in your area:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Er i think the point Delain is making is that there is A LACK of properties without built in appliances!
Certainly isn't the case around here. We bought last year but before that we rented a flat in Cheltenham and told them we had our own appliances (not to mention two cats) and found a place.
Obviously if there are loads of new builds about then sure, there is a high probability of built in "designer" kitchens. It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0 -

Would you? If you had 350k spend it on a flat?
I paid £325k for my one bed garden (proper garden) leasehold flat in london... and was happy to get it so cheap!
It is a crazy market, but its the reality.0 -

My cats have been an obstacle to me tbh. One of them needs to go, sadly because she wont react well to a baby and my other cat needs a lot of looking after since she was run over in April and broke her pelvis.
But here, even older houses seem to have the kitchens re-done with appliances in.
I tend to avoid looking at new builds because they are very small, you would think that would mean no bad cookers but no :rotfl:
I know I sound fussy but I can stay put in my small house for as long as I like thankfully as my Landlord likes long term tenants and I'm lucky not to be dealing with an agency.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

i know what you mean delain, we have all our own appliances too. But its right, we are in a small minority for the most. I tend to look for a property with a garage of shed and ask if we can store either ours or their goods.:starmod:Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1189:starmod:0
