  • . Some numpty managed to get the bone in there.

LMAO, yes, mother nature. The chicken came with bones.
  • but when I did there was a bone just over an inch in size and about the width and similar shape to a toothpick.
I can only go with what you originally posted.

Well technically it comes with feathers too.........although i'd be mighty unhappy if i found feathers in my chicken burger

Although that wasnt really what i was referring to when i quoted that piece :rotfl: its a uhm private (but not so private) joke.

Ok, I'm still not getting your point? I said the bone was "just over an inch in size" in my first post and I later said the piece (of chicken) was around an inch and a half. The bone didn't "grow" which is what you accused me of and which I took issue with. I never said the bone and the chicken were the same size. Anyway, I'm over it now. Just never going back to KFC.
  • It's all good fun.
Are you sure it wasnt 2 pieces of popcorn chicken stuck together? Or perhaps a small chicken nugget that slipped through the net?
TBH, theres no point. On occasion, the whole victim stuff gets a bit much and it's worth debating further.
  • No, it was a piece of popcorn chicken in a boneless banquet and like you say, it doesn't really matter. Though my scampi is often around 3 inches long, tis JUMBO scampi I'll have you know :p.

I'm off to bed as I'm working a 14 hour day at least tomorrow. Have also realised that when I am an old grey haired lady I don't really want to say I spent any of my 20's measuring chicken with a ruler, taking pictures of bones (stop it Unholyangel!) and arguing over the size of popcorn with total strangers. Damn laptop and wireless internet. And damn the blackberry while I'm at it.

Perhaps the pimply youths that work in Kentucky Fried Cruelty picked a lump of bone out of the bin and stuck it in your chicken bits on purpose.
Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Ok, so today was my nephew's first last day of school (he is 5) and my brother and sister in law were both working (one is usually off when the other isn't) but they didn't want to leave it uncelebrated so they asked me to pick him up and let him choose anything he wanted for dinner and an activity for afterwards. So little dude chooses KFC  as he has never been there before (we aren't too keen on junk food in our family) and he felt a bit left out among his school friends.
I don't go to KFC because I don't believe in causing unnecessary suffering to animals and consequently I prefer not to eat halal food...
