There are many products that do not contain nuts, but the packaging states that it may contain nuts.
The CM/Inch thing I think your both a bit mixed up. The thickness of a minstrel may be around 1 CM, but the length will be closer to 2 CM.

The first is because they are produced in a factory that deal with nut containing products (i'm seriously trying to keep a straight face here) and for people with life threatenin allergies to nuts *giggle* it could kill them if even a fleck of nut is in the product.

As for the minstrel, i can confirm (having just measured one with a ruler) that their diameter is exactly 2cm :D

    Their thickness is about 0.7-0.8cm

how an 'inch' is a lot to a bloke (guess where?!) then comment about how 'my butt will never be the same' :rotfl::rotfl:

  • I remember saying to a guy at work that was really into tesco egg mayonaise. I said it may contain shell (as the packaging stated) and he never ate it again.

If I was offered a million pounds to hide a 1 inch straight piece of bone in a piece of popcorn chicken, I would lose. It then grew to an inch and a half.
When you start to exaggerate, you lose credability.

And there is absolutely no way that is a teeny tiny rant.

Right, because I'm not so sad as to start up a thread about something that didn't actually happen I would like to prove that I am in fact telling the truth. How do I post a pic on here?

Take a picture of the offending article next to a ruler or tape measure to stop the size disputes, upload it to Tinypic (it's free!) then link it to here, by clicking the little globe with the chain links and pasting in the URL from Tinypic.

"That wasn't Popcorn Chicken then. I still stand by the size of 1cm. 1 inch is WAAAAAAAAY too big for Popcorn Chicken. It is the same as a kernel of Popcorn, hence the name. "

Ive never had popcorn chicken that is kernal sized, Popped popcorn sized, yes, which is where Ive always presumed the name comes from. And I would agree with the OP that they general closer to the inch mark than the cm one.
I suppose sometimes slip ups can be made and bones can be left in, but its not unreasonable to expect something to be boneless when it is advertised as such or for when is intended for children. I am surprised that a large bone piece could be left in the popcorn chicken as it is so processed, which would make me more inclined to inform KFC that it has happened.
Its the fillet tower burgers that are my weakness, delish!!
  • I'm uploading to Flickr as I type. Unfortunately the picture quality is naff. Its all blurry!

Well a pic of the other offending article would get the thread deleted and probably all of us PPR'ed :rotfl::rotfl:
