  • Awesome thanks I was looking for an avi movie size flash stick! Took about 5 minutes on hold - pretty sure 0845 are free on my BT calling plan anyway.

    Thanks again!

I wonder if they'll let previous subscribers have one. I got a USB flash drive a while back from them off a different promo.

I like reading the Economist, but it can get pricey once the special trial has finished. I got offered 11 copies for £2 last time which was fine until I got charged the full whack once that was over.
New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!

Ordered this last Saturday, just received the magazine, but no usb stick, just a comp slip with the following typed onto it:-

"We apologise for the delay in sending out your Economist USB Stick.
We hope that you enjoy your free issue, if you would like to try a further 12 issues for just £12 please call 0114 220 2404 and quote QMMC.
Once again we apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience."

The barcode on the mag states it cost's £4.20 , and as the date is October 6th-12, this is weekly.

I bought 12 issues for £1 yesterday, just for the hell of it.

It is weekly. And I was told over the phone yesterday the USB would be sent out separately and allow upto 21 days for it to be delivered.

Was on hold for about 5 minutes, and then line got cut off.

Rang back and spoke to someone else, and then it got sorted in a few minutes.
    Compting since October 2012.

Wins so far : 2013 Camra Good Beer Guide (£ 15,99) - 2x BBC Good food show tickets (£ 40,), free Papa Johns pizza (£ 19,45).
