never the less, its a very minor point!
the 0845 number above probably didnt cost anything more than 10-20p on a lot of landlines (5p a minute @ 3 minutes maybe?)
if someone wont even pay 20p for a memory stick & mag with free delivery they are a little bit tight lol :rotfl:
idvi....If you want to pay 20p for something rather than get it free, that is your perogative but I do not understand either your logic on sentiment. As sirmarcus rightly stated, this is a freebies board and his posting had value and was appreciated by me.:)0 -
Got mine this morning after ordering on Sunday. The guy on the phone was a bit shocked when I refused the 12 for £1 offer, but in truth I was only interested in the USB stick0

LOL, if my jeans were as tight as most of the people on these boards I would be singing soprano. The majority of them would take a dozen fresh cowpats as long as they were free, even if they didn't know what to do with them0 -
I texted yesterday, they called back hours and hours later when I was in cinema, the guy wouldnt take no for an answer about signing up for the year for a pound, and eventually just gave up, said ok id recieve the 1 issue, then hung up!0

Recieved mine today! USB not bad, just under a gig of memory, but cant get rid of an automatically read "CD drive" put on the usb, so when you plug it in, both a removable disk drive and a new cd drive appear, and the cd drive has all the economists bumf in it to try to convince you to buy more!0

Hi there.
This is from a leaflet in the Sunday Times:
Try a free copy of the Economist and get a free 1GB USB memory stick.:T
Phone them : 08452863099 and quote USB95.
Don't get talked into trying their '£1 for 12 monthly issues' deal (separate to this freebie) if you don't want to read the Economist for a year because you need to set up a valid direct debit with them.
Offer closes 31st March 2011.0 -
