Sort the socks. Any that are not pairs and are legitimately "odd" put under your sink. they are perfect dry, put them over the hand then swipe around your skirting boards- you can then wash ( if bothered) or bin which I did.

The only thing is I wish I had more old socks!

getting kebab smell from kitchen- was it doner? if it was good luck! Ive never found anytihng that shifts it!

well my viewing cancelled last night. Which was good as it meant I could have a friday night off from cleaning  However, she might be coming today, so bascially I need to do one final blitz including floors and then create absolutely no mess for the rest of the time we are here :rotfl:

Thanks for sock tip... what a fab idea..
kebab was doner and shish and veggie pizza for me... think I'll just put a thick woollie on then and open all the doors and windows!!! Either that or cook up a pongy curry!!!!!!!!

And when you've done that, I'd like you both to arrange your vegetables in alphabetical order.

    welcome pixxxysu :D

Well I like to sit down at the start of the day here, and type out all the things Id like to achieve over the day with a nice :coffee: and of course catch up on the chat & banter ;)

Then I like to go and do a few bits ( I have an inbuilt timer!) and then come back and cross them off my list.

Then when OH comes home from w**k I can show him my list of achievements or he can ( & Im sure he does) nose at our antics from work :rotfl:

Im sure he knows whats for tea before he gets in the door :rotfl:

Always room for another - welcome

Thanks Lynz - didn't expect anyone to actually read my list! That's what I like about this thread, there's always someone on hand to give a friendly 10_1_102v.gif up the virtual 10_6_9.gif

    Now, what's that about soda?

    morning!
we had a rather early start with clocks changing and so ...
kids got up at 5am

managed to do a few things so far:
d/w and w/m are on, one load is already folded and needs to go upstairs,
made some banana muffins with ds, picked toys up 4 or 5 times, sweeped floors 3 times (messy kids)

but i feel like a zombie and would rather go back to bed - shame that the kids don't agree

oh well, it's sunny here for a change and i've sent dp out with ds to the park, dd has just woken from a nap (just taking 5 more minutes for myself )
    things to do:
    - more cupboards in kitchen need cleaning (in/outside)
    - wash kitchen floor
    - more washing to be folded and put away
    - think about dinner

lynz sounds like you had a fab time yday. - have fun with your tiles!
penny i did read your list but i had no idea what a demijohn was. i thought it was rather something .. ehm ... :o :silenced: :D
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work ;)
