Afternoon Flybabes & Flyboy!
Peem and Cashsaver it's really good to have you on this thread - you make me :rotfl: and
Denise - hopefully you're sleeping soundly in NZ and will wake afresh and ready to tackle those jobs.
Redballoon - ditch the emails or change your options to receive one consolidated email. The UK is better than the US as it comes at a decent hour with just the basics and no testimonials. Best to follow the FLYlady tasks Penny posts and build a daily routine with help/tips from the guys here.
Feeling worse than yesterday. I feel sick and dizzy with bad cramps. Was supposed to drive DS to see a few friends and family but not up to it. Instead I've tried to play with him this morning (between catnaps!) and now he's watching Thomas the Tank Engine - I feel so bad.
Like Lynz (good luck with viewings by the way) coz I've been through Flylady tasks once already I've little decluttering to do and just need to better work on establishing my routine and tackling my hotspots.
Daily:
[STRIKE]Beds made
DW emptied/filled/run
WM one load
TD one load[/STRIKE]
Ironing one load
Swish & swipe [STRIKE]ensuite [/STRIKE]/ bathroom / toilet
Today:
Ironing pile from hell - is it me or is it never ending?
Office hotspot - still! Sorry!
Hex - hope you get the oven sorted.
Punky xPunky x0 -
Oven done but it still isn't working properly. Bit of a pain as we are due to move 8th December so would be replacing it for six weeks use.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
-
oh dont replace it Hex! I certainly wouldnt.
Whats wrong with it?
I did read ( i know. not at all OS) about some compny that comes round, takes your oven apart, dips all bits into some chemicals in the back of thier van, then puts the gleming spotless oven back together again. and its about 35 quid. Not quite moneysaving, but certainly time saving and I'll be using them once i locate who/where they are:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

tell you what cashsaver
Sort the socks. Any that are not pairs and are legitimately "odd" put under your sink. they are perfect dry, put them over the hand then swipe around your skirting boards- you can then wash ( if bothered) or bin which I did.
The only thing is I wish I had more old socks!
getting kebab smell from kitchen- was it doner? if it was good luck! Ive never found anytihng that shifts it!
well my viewing cancelled last night. Which was good as it meant I could have a friday night off from cleaning  However, she might be coming today, so bascially I need to do one final blitz including floors and then create absolutely no mess for the rest of the time we are here :rotfl::beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Hello, both, and all who follow! I've been up for a while, cleared the kitchen, but then been distracted around here! Few bits to do today, so will post my list soon. Then DD off to Guide camp, DS off to a friend's to sleep, and DH and I out in a taxi, meal, theatre, home alone!! Doesn't sound very Money Saving, but it's a work freebie (including taxi - £98  as we live in the sticks!) so the whole evening is free! It's also my treat for doing The Challenge.
Have a great day, Penny. x:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Great to have you aboard, Sarah! Flylady usually gives us the weekend off (kind of her) but she's been verrrrrry slow getting this week's tasks out, so here's Friday's.
Change your bed, give it a bit of a spray with soemthing nice, then spend tomorrow's extra hour there, just enjoying it!
