God!! i have just read the flylady thread for the first time and I just feel so sluttish!! I admit I hardly do anything!! oh dear! there are just the 2 of us now and we are both out at work all day during the week and must admit that when I get home i generally just laze about!Even worse to admit is that I dont do anyone else's ironing except my own. my hubby does his own . I do wash them though and fold them up (usually!) God it make me sound like I have a real pigsty of a house but I dont think it is. I am not the tidiest at putting my clothes away so do tend to stay where i took them off for a day or so till I get round to doing something about them. When I get home from work i make phones clals if I have to deal with anything , think about making some dinner and sometimes even get around to it. Its just the way we both are I suppose we are neither of us big eaters but I have been making an effort lately to actually cook something rather than snack or zap meals. I still feel guilty though as the only housekeeping i do apart from washing and washing up gets done ina couple of hours sometime at the weekend. Its no good I am a cra* housewife- I admit it!0

I feel awful too, i have only been doing medial tasks not routine tasks, and i have been decluttering etc. Have been rading a thread on here about organising your week, and it is starting to help, if i can draw up a rota???0

havent been on the puter for 4 days cos children needed it.
clean the fish tank out today it now looks spotless (poor things couldnt see, and i'd forgotten how many we had ) so it needed doing!!!
i must say now the tank is clean its totally improved the look of the lounge as well as being a much healthier environment for the fish
Made a start on ironing mountain yesterday i did 48 t shirts!!! still loads more to do. a friend came round while i was doing it and was going on about how wonderfully anthea folds t shirts but couldnt remember how to do it. it sounded facinating but we couldnt work out what to do i'd never seen it and shed forgotten so it was like the blind leading the blind LOL. does anyone know the method she was going on about please?SPC~12 ot 124

Morning, to Mrs MP and all other Flypeople!
Anthea's t-shirt folding trick looks impressive, but in my experience, falls apart at the back when you try to pick up the shirt. Try this, with a short-sleeved, collarless t-shirt (child's if you have one, or the smallest of yours) first, while you get the hang of it. You can then go advanced with long sleeved and collars!
Put the t-shirt face down on a flat surface. Fold about a third of each side in towasrds the middle. Fold in half from the bottom. Turn over - perfect!
I've been doing this for years. Not as impressive as Anthea's, I admit, but it works, and looks neat.
If you don't get the hang of this, PM me, and I'll post photos!
