  • I have this aversion to filing - so much so that the pile I am now tackling is in danger of engulfing the house. :rotfl: One good thing though - some of it has been in the 'pending' pile for so long, there is no longer any point in filing it.:j
My deadline to get rid of this particular monster is lunchtime tomorrow - have to have the table cleared because I have guests coming. :D
:j Every day in every way, learning to money save:j

Hi, If you type flylady into your search engine it will most likely be the first one that comes up.

Whatever you do, do not sign up to receive emails, I havn't done so, but I understand you get rather a lot

You do get a lot, but you can get a daily digest instead where they send you one long email at the end of each day (American time though so it's all a bit out but enough to get you motivated and read all the testimonials from others). :D
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
  • I did that flylady thing and cleaned the sink - I put the draining rack away in the cupboard under the sink as well. I really don't understand how such a simple thing can make you feel so much better. Coming home to an empty shiny sink, or getting up in the morning to one has an effect out of all proportion to the effort expended. :j

I really really hope I can keep up the momentum.:D

This weekend I'm going to do some of the Throw Away/Give Away/Put Away stuff. I haven't got 3 boxes, but I have got 3 laundry baskets - two of which are broken and will be finding their way to the dump when I've finished.

Tum ti tum, isn't it great when you feel you are beginning to get control of your life back?

Next challenge is the 'personal clutter' as flylady calls it. I haven't been brave enough to look at that section yet - but I'm quite certain she means FAT:eek:

It is great, nice to come home and be vaguely proud of the house now and then!

I think she does mean body clutter and changinng your attitude to yourself - and I am not sure I fancy that one :o . Oddly enough I did lose quite a bit of weight (ta PP) when I was manically attacking the cleaning and decorating....... :p
