last night I laid out my clothes for the next day...first time in ages I've done that. Yesterday was hot and I'd been sweltering in jeans, so I chose a t-shirt and summery skirt...and today it's chilly and raining!

maybe I should include checking the weather forecast as part of my bedtime routine!

How come I keep finding more jobs that need doing. I've just sprayed WD40 on the hinges of the toilet seat as it kept coming up with the lid. When I went for the WD40 I remembered that the drawer in the filing cabinet it lives in was missing it's handle so I have levered that open and made a handle from string.

Then as I was walking past I fell over two boxes of stuff I had sorted out from the kitchen so they have gone down into the cellar. I will get around to the bathroom eventually.

I've Get washing on the line done
strip DS1 and DS2 beds. done
    Quick tidy in bedrooms done
    Hoover staris and upstairs done
Oh and bathroom - look its been relegated again!

not moved so fast in years - well done all loads of progress.

Have also picked up toys in living room and hoovered kitchen floor. Oh and put on another wash.

Off to garden centre now to get some leeks for the allotment, then lunch pick up DS3 and school meeting this afternoon so may not be flying until later.

Later want to clean the bathroom and wet dust the bedrooms (oh and make the beds before bedtime!) Need to return library books - may delegate to DH.

Any tips for storing kids school bags. I have cleared a space in the kitchen as DS3 pushchair gone but the bags are just getting dumped there.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just joined today! No e mails yet from the site though! Anyway have listed my 3 jobs for morning and 3 for afternoon. So far have:-

    1) Washed up and cleaned and shined my sink

    2) Cleared and cleaned worktops

    3) Vacumned kitchen floor ready for the stardrops treatment

Now I'm resting with the timer on and a hm smoothie for energy.

    On my to do list:-

Wash kitchen and utility floor using stardrops (might do conservatory while I am at it)

27 fling (plenty of clutter here so should be easy) Must dig out my rolling stones cd for that!

Bake cookies (need to do a double batch as lovely neighbours the other side have just knocked with a bag of my favourite little tomatoes)

    Hot spot (dining room table)

5 min room rescue (got to be the bedroom, still got some unpacking to do! )

Hope I can keep the pace going!

  • I have done my main task for today which was to sort out the toy cupboard and list all the toys they have grown out of on freecycle.

All i need to do now is to take the toys from the top floor to the garage.
