Morning FLYbabes, FLYboy, FLYnewbies and our latest FLYbaby Charlie.

Spooky - Michelle just yesterday I was gonna post and ask if anyone had heard from you and here you are! Yipee :j Take Penny's advice and spend the precious time you have with your beautiful new baby - housework can wait! Just do the basics like dinner, wash a day and the odd swish. Best advice I had was 'sleep when baby sleeps!

    Welcome Ellybel & Mandi! :hello:

It's good to know that when you have a bad day others make up for it by having a good day - keep it up kscour, Baileys Babe and of cause our Penny!

Picked nyself up off the floor last night and got a few bits done before bed which meant I could hit the floor running today.

    Done so far:
    Beds made
All washing up done (DW would appear to be broken  )
    One wash done, second on
    TD on
All rooms straight and tidy (except Punky's office which we don't mention...)
    S&S ensuite
Lots of tea made for builders

    To do:
Brace myself for inlaws - not happy with FIL as builders found his footprints in the newly laid concrete
    Cook Shepherds Pie
Do something with mountain of carrots
Attack ironing mountain - there's a skip outside - that might do it
Get ready for NCT group who will [STRIKE]attack[/STRIKE] visit home this afternoon.

    What I'd like to do
    Relax!

Have a good day all. Punky xx

For today I want you to grab your broom and your mop. Sweep your kitchen floor really well and then mop. There are several ways to mop a kitchen floor and no real wrong way. Hot soapy water and wipe. There is no "perfect" mop and no "perfect" way to do it. Just Do It!

  • Hiya everyone.

I think this may be the earliest i'll get on from now on. :rotfl: Pen Pen and punky - please don't worry i'll do too much. That's what the weekend is for, so Dh can play with him and i can have some time to myself. Plus, i will be trying to sleep when he does as i am already poopered. :D

    Achieved so far:
    • slept in till 9:45. (mainly as Charlie had 3 feeds last night, not the usual 2. No wonder he put on 10 oz this week)
    • had a bath, and cleaned my teeth before DH got home from work :j - bad mummy left him whimpering for a bit. I think he has forgiven me though
    • made bed
    • dealt with post - strangely pampers sent me out a letter telling me he is now 12 months old. That did go quick. No wonder i am tired. :rotfl: Not moaning about the £2 off voucher though.
    • been to drs - chatted to lots of grannies who wanted a peek in the car seat
    • collected prescription - didn'tleave baby anywhere on 1st solo outing

plan for the rest of the day:
    • check internet banking
    • prepare sweet potato and courgette ready to roast in oven for tea. (cheating and having shop bought pizza tonight)
    • put WM on, empty airers and hang washing up. I have got a technique of collecting bits of laundry as i wander around the house, and then putting on once i've found a whole load.
    • cuddle my cats as they are feeling a bit neglected, which i can probably do while snoozing.

My next door neighbour may also be popping around for an hour this afternoon.

At least i feel better because i am clean today, although i may have to brave the ironing pile before i get dressed tomorrow, or i could be scraggy and sit in PJs or stained clothes all day. He has a nack of only being sick on me and staying clean himself. Which isn't too bad cos i don't have the ab dabs when its time to change.

Hope you are all having as much fun as me. I am having to be quite creative, but i will still get there.

    Michelle, xx

  • Good evening Flyers!

Today, I've been at w*** so all the flying I've done is post a letter! I'm now making mushroom and pumpkin risotto for tea with the children, then they'll have baths while I tidy round. We'll then snuggle up for a chat and some TV. Ooohh, forgot, we'll obviously listening to the 15000th episode of The Archers, too!

Hope you've all had a good day!

    Penny. x
