you may laugh TNG, but its coming for you too. Before you know it you will be in the MRFBBM grip and you will not be able to let it out of your sight.
Weird thing happened me & OH fell asleep on the sofa last night, I woke up at 4.00am woke up OH we went to bed, I quickly stuck the BM on and voila 7.20am a perfect loaf beeping us awake. Im hoping to aquire the skill of setting the BM off in my sleep so I dont have to fathom the timer LOL:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? i've just put the SC on with some veg soup [yummy]
most of the day i've spent on the internet searching for even more [better] wedding venues(LYNZ to answer your question: berkshire area; don't want to stray too far from home  - just decided with OH to walk the plank, have the party; go back home and put the kids to bed and leave them with whoever is around - and go back to the hotel (!) and enjoy a lovely room all to ourselves with a fab breakfast in the morning
:A )

Afternoon all!
Not having the best day. Went to bed extremely late as OH away and I don't sleep well without him. DS woke at 6.30 and after a cuddle (more of a kick) was deposited in front of CBEEBIES while I got some more sleep. (Bad mother Punky)
Awoke to the sound of a reversing lorry that was the skip being delivered for the workmen doing our conservatory which starts today. Had to get up pretty quick to move cars off driveway and nearlt drove DH new car into the front of the house
Spent the morning trying to fix the damned DW which is making very strange noises and seems broken
Went to swimming with DS and was so fed up I took him to have a burger for lunch - first time and he did have water apples and grapes with his burger!
Have spent afternoon clearing away last bits from my party and avoiding the washing/ironing/washing up while DS helps the workmen eat their biscuits!
So nohing done, coveting Penny's empty ironing basket and Bailey's / kscour's crossed out lists and about to start on the workman's biscuits while bracing myself for inlaws who are babysitting so I can go to Pilates.Punky xx

Hey PixxySu. Congrats on your upcoming wedding. I also live in Berkshire - not the cheapest county to get married in. IMHO spend your money on venue/food, photographer and dress and save as much as possible on everything else. Guests will only remember if the food was good and what you were wearing and the photos are your lasting memory. I made the invites, menus, order of service and saved loads. Also got a friend to make the cake and my mum made all dresses and waistcoats. I even managed to get a discount on my dream dress! I also told florists and other suppliers I was buying for an 'event' and not a wedding and the prices were strangely cheaper. If you can get married on a week day you'll find things cheaper and more available plus the people you really want to attend will be prepared to take a day off work. I know someone who put marquee in a church hall which made for a very cheap but still beautiful venue. Best of luck Punky xPunky x0
