    AAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!

Please don't sneak up on me like that!   I almost dropped my iron.

Hi, TNG :hello: Good to have you back, hun.

Just finished the ironing and guess what - THE BASKET IS EMPTY!! This doesn't happen often, so I'm celebrating with a cup of coffee and a muffin. Washing is done, and folded for putting away.

I'm finishing the sitting room today - hoovering under the sofas, and clearing the fireplace (again!), quick tidy, dust and hoover round.

See you all later, Penny. x

This is the first time in a while that one's been seen in these parts!

You're not doing so badly yourself, KS!

Would it count if I bought a new laundry basket?

I was thinking about a de clutter - you know if it hasnt been worn in six months then it should be recycled. This would apply to most of the upstairs ironing basket and would remove one storage problem, one ironing problem and give a virtous glow. My lovely OH is starting to see through these initiatives though.

I have an oven full of nasty chemical cleaner in a last ditch attempt to get it to work. After that I will just have to get a new one - pain when it is only six weeks to the move. Bad karma to leave it broken, and I would feel dishonest.

hex, why dont you get the boys round with the van we discussed earlier, its only 30 odd quid, surely cheaper than buying a new oven??

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I have to admit, I only do ironing when there's something good on TV. Multi tasking at its best! Today was the wonderful Jane Horrocks, as Prime Minister, on vieo. Fab and scary at the same time!
