I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work ;)
  • hiya everyone.

Thought it was about time i re-appeared. The house doesn't look too bad to say i've been out of action for a few weeks. DH and MIL did a sterling job on cleaning but not quite as good at tidying. I can't find anything today, my first official day alone with baby. Plus i have a 3 feet tall ironing pile.

I desperately need to start flying again. My plan for this week is to make sure i do one load of washing a day, the kitchen gets a tidy, post gets dealt with, and tea gets cooked. ;)

Today has been a bit of a write off because the baby has been really grizzly, and i had health visitor and midwife visiting me.

I have fed the cats (DH barely remembered for a whole week while i was in hospital), written a card, caught up on MSE, and had a bit of a potter in the living room while he was sleeping this afternoon. I've also thought about what needs to be done this week, setting myself ten targets. Will get more organised for tomorrow, although one of tomorrows jobs will be to go to my Drs appointment, which will be our first solo outing. Scary stuff.

Missed you all. It was a nice afternoon spent reading your posts.

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

  • Hi, Michelle! Great to see you back. Don't go doing too much; Charlie will grow so quickly, so spend as much time with him as you can. :A
