Morning everyone (oh should say Evening to Denise!):hello:

Another exciting day ahead was thinking about trying to reclaim a bit of the garden today so needless to say it's raining:rolleyes:

    House
    d/w, washing, ironing
    Kitchen sides
    5 mins whizz round house
mend clothes/polish shoes/check pockets of coats
Clean glass in mirrors, doors, shower etc
water plants (guess I could just stick them outside:D )
    Change DD2's bed

    Work
    Post in/out
pay anyone who's due a cheque
    sales invoices & filing_pale_

    Kitchen
    Sort out the cupboards
    clean freezer

    Extra
    School fund accounts
Chocolate order for school - shall fax it if I can't get through on phone

Lynz - sounds like you've found a perfect job - keeping my fingers crossed you get it!

PiixxySu - I was invited to a pampered chef do but couldn't make it (well I could have locked the DD's in the cellar while I toddled of on the town I suppose:rolleyes: :D ). Couldn't get to the bottom of how it works (ie what are they trying to sell you!) Could you give me any clues??

Mandi - Yep you're right life is for living and I guess we all have to live the way that makes us the happiest. Having faced death twice I certainly don't take a day for granted. For me being able to walk out the door on impulse and do something with the kids and then to be able to walk back into a tidyish house means that time spent with the kids is spent with them not looking at my watch stressing about what needs doing before I can start cooking or even to find a space to sit down when we get back. Everyone's different - that's what makes this world such a special place:D

  • Your mission for today should you choose to accept it: Scrub down your counter tops, I don't mean to just wipe a rag across them! I mean you get some hot soapy water and you wipe down the counters from front to back and side to side. Yes, you have to move the stuff on the counters to do this. DON'T take everything off at one time and then plan to put it all back again, I promise you will get sidetracked and then you will all email me crying that it is all my fault!! LOL! You just move your toaster (or coffee pot or whatever this is an example here! :>) ) over to one side and wipe down the counter, then move over a foot or so, move aside what is there and wipe down some more and so on. We are not marathon cleaning the kitchen here, just getting all the crumbs and junk that seems to build up behind and under things. Have fun! Don't obsess! Enjoy!
