  • your welcome! I ramble to much so might take you a while lol. i will be starting a new diary soon - once ive got my head round what to do this year with money.....Yep we do have our hands full here :) and only going to be more madness come April lol

Going on a hunt today for paper party plates. DD really wants some minnie mouse ones and i cant find them anywhere! They are on the internet and can order and pay extra for fast delivery from Amazon if i dont find any others but dont really want to pay to much......going to check toys r us today as its my last resort.............

Had toi cancell dds order from amazon for her bday as it still isnt dispatched and I ordered it on the 23rd and its her bday on wednesday so wouldnt be here on time - its a pain as i was only going to pay £2.95 for it (had £12.50 in vouchers) and it sells in most shops for £25!! Ohwell need to find her a new toy to cover it now.....which i dont know how as she is going to be with me all the time now till her bday....might have to go to tesco one evening or something....

OMG how fantastic that your Dad gave you £3000 :T! So your going to need a 7 seater arent you, I bet you could pick an older one up a bit cheaper. Only thing with Zafiras is once back seats are up theres not much boot space at all, so maybe you might need a rookfbox if you went for one of those. Theres the Ford Galaxy, my mum had one of those and im sure theyve got 3 proper seats in the back if you know what I mean. Cant remember what the boot space was like on that with the back seats up.

Yay to being fed in the pub yesterday, you cant beat pub grub :D!!! x

    Hi thanks for the comments.
Fizzy i like the organised mum diary so far!! I havent used it much yet but i bet when i get back to school and all the partys etc it will be good. I like i can keep most things all together rather then spread out everywhere.....

Mummy We do have a 7seater - well its ment to be a 7 seater but the back seat which should be 3 has two car seats in and the gap between the 2 car seats is about 3inches so nowhere near big enough for any one to sit lol. I think the galaxy is the right size but not sure about the zafira - i think thats smaller then our car?? I think we can get a cheap galaxy or espace and not make the debt any higher and it will make the repayments each mth lower.....but DH really wants to just pay it towards a cc.....which i know you probally should but i dont like the idea of dd always being in the front seat (which im not sure if its safe even with a forward facing seat with the airbag??) and also think it will be horrible that we can never go anywhere all together. What about in the summer if we want to go to a country park or something? I think will be less likely to go or all go together.... :(

Can you disable the airbags? We couldnt on my car but could on my Mums, google it for your type of car.
How often do you go out with all of you? If its not very often or if it is only for short journeys then maybe the money is of more benefit going on the CCs? If you needed a longer journey you could hire a bigger car for the duration, we had to hire one when OHs broke and he couldnt get to work, i was surprised how cheap they were to hire.

  • Pinky. it will go fast im sure!! The first part has gone sooo fast so im sure baby will be here before i know it....
Pipsmum. thanks just goggled and it cant be turned off - so does that mean i shouldnt have a 7yr old in the front with a booster seat with the airbag?? Or is it just baby car seats??? need to find that out i guess.....
We do often go to parents and family which all are about a hr away which he could use the work van for....im thinking its a problem for family days out?? We would always have to go seperate to anywhere like parks etc (pay double parking and petrol etc) but main thing is i dont want it to stop us being able to do family things together??but im prob just worring and it wont stop us doing to much??
Just had a thought DH will have to pay more tax etc as he will then have to use the work van for private use so will be classed as a company car so should also look this up as i remember a few years ago they put it through wrong and he got taxed more so will see how much this is aswell....at the mo its just used for work....
Going to cash the cheque and put it in the highest interest saving account untill we decide what is best to do.....

Forgot to add spends earlier. Went to ik*a today and spent £20 but got DS a high chaire as he really needs one. Also got 2 frying pans (ours have lost there none stick!) some napkins for dds party and some kiddy cups. So got lots for my money :)
Also got some party bits like plates etc from Toys r us so another £10 spent there.

Have just done up some invites for dds party which ill try and print out when I get dh to find the wires for printer in a bit :) (sooo late as its on saturday!!opps) Have also done a little printout which i want to bee able to wrap around some small chocolate bars to pop into her party bags.
