Lol we should
Pips mum glad to hear its worth the extra - looks like it will be good...... He got me the leather case thing aswell to keep it all together. I like it as it has space for 7 people and its the ONLY one ive ever seen with lots of spaces normally they only have 4/5 which is nowhere near enough for all us
Went to my mum and it was lovely. We were all very lucky and got lots of nice things. My mum got me a bigger slow cooker (the lid on mine had broken and needed a new one) Glad its nice and big as hope i can do double and freeze some?? So will be looking out for some new recepies! She also see on the Arg@s website that there was a microwave for half price and £40 so she gave us the money for that!! We havent had one for about 6mths and it makes things sooo much easier with one. Also got Jamie olivers new 30 minute meals books so will have to look through and see if there are any good meals in there.....
Today we are going to the BIL to stay. We have loads of nibbles left in the freezer so will bring some of them and they have some aswell so wont have to buy a take away like we used to when we stayed over.....GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. Thanks penny and to you too x
I went to the shops today and have got my dad a top in the next sale. Also got dd a few bits all in the saleHave got the cash out for budgets like dds party and spends for the mth but kept grocery in a seperate bank account incase i do online shops.....
We have started the kids with pocket money - dd1 will be getting £2 a week and dd2 £1 a week. Think it will stop all the moaning about wanting to buy things in shops and good to teach dd1 about moneySo will sort out a budget for the rest of the mth and put it in a evenolope so i have the right money for them......
Did a big shop in mrt today and spent £52!! So £2 over my weekly budget AND I dont think it will last the whole week......arrrrr
Need to write down all my new year resolutions (seem to have lot that are the same every year!!)GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0 -
£2 over isnt too bad especially with a mahoooosive family like yours! I am sure you can eeeek it out enough to last x x
And dont worry about the reolutions being the same, I write my 'goals' at the front of my diary each year there it is - "pay off debts"Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!0 -
Pips mum there always is the same like 'pay of debt' and 'pay of ccs' and yet its still there the next year lol
I have had a big shock today and OMG my dad has given us £3000!!!!!!:eek::eek: He had said before about paying the fee for ending the fixed term etc but i didnt really think he would ever just give it to us!!! He has said we can use it on what we want wheather thats pay of mortage or put towards getting a new car etc (He doesnt know about all the massive ccs etc) So now we have to work out whats best to do with it etc........OMG cant believe it lol
So best thing is probally to pay it of the loan/cc with the highest interest rate where we wont get a fee to do so........
But or do we use it towards a new car? We wont all fit in when we have this baby so wont be able to go out as a family ever! Will have to go in car and dh in work van.....so should we see what we still owe on car finance and what will get to trade in the car, then if we need to pay a little extra use dads money (prob about £500-£1000) Then use the rest to put towards a new car and get a smaller loan on the cheapest car we can all fit in and get a smaller amount on finance????? which will prob be a smaller amount each mth then we pay at the mo but might last longer then the 2 years left on our car..... Arrrr.........who knows. Think we need to look into it all and see what the figures are for it all......
