I think you've been affected by it a bit too much!;)
What makes you say that? I buy what I want to buy, not what the adverts tell me I should. At Christmas and birthdays I ask my children what they want and they say 'I don't know - nothing really'. Clearly they haven't been affected by the adverts - they must now just go over their heads.0 -

They say 4 weeks, but I think I've sent one in with 2 weeks to go. I just sent it next day to ensure it got there.

I did one for my son's birthday and we sent it well in advance and it never got shown.
Quite frankly what I find the most irritating about Cbeebies is not adverts (obviously) it's the ruddy promotions for Zing Zillas that seem to be on inbetween EVERY show  Sooooooooo irritating I'd take a Polly Pocket ad anytimeI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Now I am ok with ZingZillas............it's In the Night Garden with Flicker Flacka and Jiggle Giggle........I have to re-name them to survive the tedium, and it does amuse DD0
