:hello:
I'd like to start a "competition" thread. This is to be the place for pictures of your finest fruit and veg this year (i.e. it's for showing off!)
If you've grown something that looks just like (or better!) than the picture on the seed packet, please post a picture.
If you think you have the longest runner bean, the biggest gooseberry, or most enormous pumpkin, please post a picture with some representation of scale, and challenge your fellow MSE growers to beat it.
There will be a prize for the best entry - Martin himself said there's a bottle of champagne for the winner, chosen by him*. :money:
It's not ripe yet (and as such is not yet entered), but I will (hopefully) be challenging anyone to grow a bigger tomato than this one:

*This is a complete fib.

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

It's like I tell the Mrs, it's not the size of it that matters, it's how it tastes. :whistle:Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

If you want to grow record breaking carrots, you need to grow then in down pipes. BIL does this if there's a show at Sandringham. Long long long!0
