Not a very good day today with a head filled with feelings of downess about failing my assignment. Got in touch with uni and had tit for tat ding dong about remarking and appeals process. Anyway resolved by arranging a meeting this week to discuss what can be done.

Decided to go for a long walk with Mr Dog after work instead of a run to clear my head out a bit in the last of the bright sun and very fresh wind. So instead of running I have decided to do some yoga tonight to make amends for me eating lots of chocolate snacks and also to stretch out my increasingly tight legs these days

Happily got mother's day present today and I hope it the top fits as its really nice and a bit modern without being too much and should look good with skirts and trousers. Also picked up a lovely lightweight scarf too which matches nicely and also a half price serum which mum told me she liked that I bought her for Christmas

    Totals
    Top £5 reduced from £14
    Scarf £1 reduced from £3.50
    Serum £5.99 reduced from £12.99

    Spent £12.99
    Saved £17.50

    Hope mum likes them!

Anyway going over to say hi at the weekend and a cheering up chat and also to see if some of the jeans that don't fit me fit her and also see if the top fits I bought today.

Also bought myself a budget night cream to see how this is and is allowed as only have one little bit left in the cut open to the last dregs of the very very expensice one which is a 15ml size not the super expensive full size. Anyway, lets see how I get on with this one. Funnily enough, a lot of people noticed I'd had my hair cut and coloured today at work. Looks like the s*perdr*g colour is doing a good job and better than the more expensive branded ones. I'll be sticking to this brand. Only one more hair colour in stock to use up now.

Shock of shocks, almost out of moisturiser - one on the go which will be finished over the next couple of weeks then one travel size - eek! First time I've been in this position for a long long time. Have cleared the moisturiser mountain at last. That took a lot of years, I did it! So one new night cream as don't have anything in stock for the first time in years and soon the same for day cream. Blimey, who'd have thought!

What else, mother's day is done and dusted, oh yes, collected some easter eggs at buy 1 get 2 free for small ones so that's those ready to go now.

Tomorrow need to have a look at time to take off over the next few weeeks to help me get back on track with uni so hopefully this will make me feel a little better and more organised and on track. Hoping to get out for a run tomorrow too and on Wed with Thursday off and then the long run on Friday

Feel better today after sorting out some time off over this week, next week and the week after to regain both me time and some study time. So left early today as arranged and got back much earlier, then took out Mr Dog for a nice long walk then a nice sprinty run for 33mins for 4 miles - an unexpected bonus after a week off running.

Planning tomorrow to be the same of an early finish, take Mr Dog on an early walk then go for a run, have an easy tea and prep Thurs tea ready to throw in the pan after working later to leave earlier on Friday.

Did some work on the first assignment today and just about to start some more now for an hour. Was a nice feeling to be back home an hour or so before usual and giving me more time than I usually have. Best not squander it then on here!

Nice to have most of an afternoon off work. Went out for a 6 mile run in the bright sunshine and very cold and blustery wind and came back in a surprisingly quicker than usual 54 mins cutting 6 mins off the time which was a bonus. Did do a huge sprint down the last road for half a mile - woo!

What else, Mr dog went on his walk as usual and then I came back to prep tomorrow's tea ready for late night work.

Just about to do an hour on the assignment then get an early night in ready for a long day at work tomorrow and the dreaded uni tutor meeting tomorrow too

Pleased to report everything went well today. The meeting went very well and we agreed on most points so the decision is to resubmit and extend the dissertation until next year then aim to regain some life again away from work and study. I feel so much better and like a pressure valve has lifted and I can still work on the dissertation at a slower pace which fits in with life better overall.

Also weigh in day today and another 1lb has dropped off! Yeah! Only 2lb left to go as I forgot I'd lowered my target weight a bit more 1st 12lb lost now, yipee!

So I end the week feeling a lot more relaxed and back to normal than I did last week and aiming for a long run tomorrow. Big lunch all prep'd and cooked and ready to go for some fuel for the day ahead.

A treat tomorrow will be a piece of cake and a creme egg - yum! And if I run nearly 11 miles then I reckon I deserve it!

Go me with my 11 mile run today. Pretty tired though now and that last mile was hard work. Anyway off to try it again next week to build up some endurance, confidence and energy.

Ate a load today to try and get enough energy. Worked ok but still felt a little lacking towards the end. So will have to tweak the diet a bit more to try and improve this.

What else - more sale bargains today. 2 new bras in my new size ( ) at least they were half price at £4 each - phew! Also couldn't resist a top for £4 reduced from £14 in a super size 10. Think this will do for work especially at this price. Then a pair of shoes that may double up for work shoes in faux purple suede at a bargain £8 instead of £18.

So Mr T has done pretty well out of me while the sale has been on. Let's have a look at the spends.

    Jumper £5 (£12)
    Jumper £5 (£12)
    T-shirt £4 (£10)
    Scarf £2.50 (£4.50)
    Scarf £1 (£3.50)
    Tights £1 x 4 (3x £4 and 1 x £5)
    Top £4 (£14)
    Bra £4 (£8)
    Bra £4 (£8)
    Shoes £8 (£18)
    Bag £4 (£8)

    Total spent £41.50
    RRP £115
    Saved £73.50

Not too bad for all that I don't think. Plus managed to use the 300 extra cc points voucher to increase those points again

Will put a nice outfit together for tomorrow to go out with mum to take my mind off my 'will they be achy or not' legs!

Nice day with mum today having a stroll around the shops looking at the spring and early summer clothes. I'm giving up on the coloured skinny jeans as they either don't fit or just don't look right. I think I'll have a look at the cotton chino's instead as these might look a bit more flattering than the skinny jeans have done.

What else, snacked on quite a bit of choccy today as a reward for reaching the second to last target weight. Half an easter egg really took me over but hey, better than I would have been before when I might have eaten one every day while they were on offer. Anyway its the weekend before I get back on track again next week for the final countdown of the last 2lbs to melt away at some point over the next couple of months - preferably before then of course!

Tomorrow is a busy day. As legs feel ok after long run yesterday might try a run tomorrow along quite a few other things to do which are the following:

Cleaning - LR, BR, Bathroom, Kitchen
    Washing - coats?
    Tidy clothes up
    Empty all bins
    Sweep and mop floors
    Treat feet to a pedicure
    File and tidy nails up
    Face mask and exfoliate
Read a chapter of the book
Take Mr Dog on a nice long walk
    Attempt a run

A lovely bright day here today. Did most of the jobs listed above bar the pamper things and reading for the assignment.

Went for a 6 mile run first thing this morning which was good. 56mins this time with slightly heavy legs. Should go again tomorrow for the shorter 4 mile one if my legs are up to it. Training is getting harder right now for some reason. Need to stick to it to improve stamina as thats what's lacking a little now at the end of the long run.

Tomorrow is work, prob a run, def some pampering of my feet and face. My poor feet are hammered. Will set myself a target of reading a chapt from the book.

Did go out for 4 mile run after work which went pretty well and I attempted to run quick for the last half a mile.

Feet deteriorating now - need some help as developing a painful big toe blister again similar to the one that became infected last year. Day off exercise tomorrow meaning will do some assignment reading instead.

Pretty tired now so off to bed for an early night in a little while

For some strange reason finding it hard sticking anywhere close to kcal allowance to shift those final 2lbs. Not sure why this is as it doesn't feel like I'm eating that much different.

Oh well never mind, maybe its all the running that's kicking the appetite in some more. Thought about having a day off running tomorrow but have now decided to go for a longer dog walk and a shorter run tomorrow. Just doesn't feel right not to go tomorrow and only go 2x on Mon and Fri. Can't give up on the training plan which I've stuck to for all these months so tomorrow if I finish work early as planned I'll go for a longer walk and a shorter run. If not usual walk and shorter run and I'm determined to go for both.

Quite a good day at work today which makes a nice change. On the countdown to holiday time next week. Only a week left to go now and then some well deserved time off where I don't have to think about uni work and studying - yeah!

Not much else to report really and guess its another early night tonight as pretty tired again as usual
