Feel really down in the dumps today. A bit of a rubbish day at work overall. Its getting more and more frustrating these days but I keep reminding myself how lucky I am I have a job when many don't.

So to cheer myself up I have a glass of wine on the go, from the bottle from the weekend, a few nice treats and then its an early night.

I feel really hungry this week - not sure why. Maybe its because I'm due on? Anyway I need to make sure I eat enough tomorrow to go for a run after work and go for a medium length quickish run (hoping so!)

Need to feel brighter tomorrow than I do today so early night and early start tomorrow and off I go!

    Fedup fedup fedup today.

Don't know what's the matter, where's my mojo gone?

Diet has gone out of the window the last 2 days. Really need to get back on track as I'm doing my own head in about it. Plus, didn't go for a run after work as just didn't feel like it really. How much can I change over the last 2 weeks? What on earth has made me feel this way? I don't know. 2 weeks ago I was out running happily 3 times a week, last week off due to the weather and then this week just once.

Hope I feel better tomorrow, think I'll try and get out for run after work, and I might just make myself do half an hour of cleaning now and see how much I can get done in this time

I went for run this morning and felt so much better for it. Still ate a load of chocolate today though, meaning, I have written this week off for the diet. From Sat aiming to stick to my meal plan and pack in the endless snacking. Then take it day by day and aim to lose this final kg over the next 2 weeks.

I will not put back on all I have lost.

Think it was a combination of rubbish mood, craving chocolate time of the month rubbish and general eye off the plan attitude. So tomorrow is a new day, take it day by day and I'll get there soon.

Did get a NSD today which was good, after yesterday caved in to some sale clothes. Let's see if they fit first and look nice. Will aim for a NSD tomorrow too, and then need a little bit of shopping this weekend, probably Saturday

Planning a run tomorrow - my longest so far on the training plan, can I do it? Of course I can!

    Hello lovely,

sorry I've not been in for a while :o. I do sneakily read while at work but never dare to log in & post.

So joyous that you have booked the holiday :j Is this the trip to India you mentioned some time ago ? I'm keen to hear how you're approaching this, are you planning & booking all accommodation & travel in advance, or just going to rock up & see how you feel when you get there ?

Your last few posts have really chimed with me too, I was doing well with my diet & exercise too, missing the odd day, but keen to make it up the next. A bit of snow & cold & next thing I know I'm trapped in my own private carb-fest, & my energy & mojo have run off together, leaving me feeling fat & frumpy & very, very cross with myself.

I've decided NOT to beat myself up over it, NOT to do a dramatic detox, & to just get my house in order over the weekend & retrieve my enthusiasm from it's hiding place under the sofa , shake it off & put it back on Monday morning :D

I still have 20lbs & 2 sizes to lose, & you, lovely lady, are the proof that it can be done :T:A:j

Have a fabby weekend ( am ignoring the bit about clothes in the sale for now ;))

Just back from my longest run so far - 9.7 miles only 3.3 miles to go now and will be ready for the half marathon - 3mths to go so still on target for a mile a month increase. Legs certainly feel that distance now. In fact, only just realised it was almost 10miles!

Now missus - thanks for popping on - I missed you! Don't do a mad detox. Just start afresh and take it steady, day by day is a good way to think about it. I'm writing this week off and starting again from tomorrow to get to my target by the end of the month. India is on hold for a awhile until next year maybe if I can ever afford it that is. Mind you the clubc vouchers are totalling up nicely to go towards it for then. Looking out for some more offers and deals to increase the rewards now! Holibobs is a walking week in the lakes - can't wait for a break as I don't think I'll get away in the summer as will be busy writing the dissertation while on leave from work - boo!

Did get a NSD today making it 10/20 now. Low spend day tomorrow and hoping for a NSD on Sunday too.

Think I'd better go for nice soak in the bath to ease the muscles off a bit!

Oh boy am I tired after yesterday's run - wiped me out quite a bit. Might have to think about what to add to the diet for these distances

Anyway, just about to start some cleaning to tidy up everywhere and then bake some flapjacks for a day out tomorrow and then see I can summon up some energy to take Mr Dog out on a longer walk this afternoon.

Firstly, a lovely day out in the hills on a 6mile walk - and surprisingly walked this an hour quicker than usual. Must be some of the fitness kicking in a bit more now on a walk!

Secondly burnt off 1300kcals and consumed 2000kcals - 800 over but hey never mind for today as still repairing the muscles in my legs after the long run on Friday.

Will try hard to stay on track this week until Thurs and Friday for the next long run attempt.

A surprising NSD 11 today too!

  • Right have meal planned for the week ahead to try and fit in some of the meals above and attempt to stay on track for the final 2 weeks of the diet plan and hope I get to my final target by then - fingers crossed.

Now just remembered to write my shopping list for this week to get some low cal oil spray for pancake day to try and stay within kcal limits

And also remembered I have a bright orange straight button up mac I completely forgot about hung up in my spare room. I completely forgot about it as I bought it years ago and wore it once. Now I love bright orange, and for some reason just remembered it as its in the ebay pile I'm working my way through now clothes fit better and some of them are saved from sale to be worn and save me some pennies from buying new ones. Can't remember when I bought it, it was mega cheap and I think it might be about 5yrs ago now. What goes around, comes around and here the orange mac arrives for spring time wear shortly. What will it go with? How about dark blue jeans, bright blue skinny jeans and bright blue dress, or even a bit of pink if I dare!
