Wish me luck because believe me I need all the luck I can get with how dire the money is at present - I hope this helps. I need a month where I spend only on what I need and nothing else so here I go starting on Wednesday for the next 29 days
Just reminding myself of my aim for Feb ^^^^
Final NSD gained today for a total of
17/18 NSD for Jan
31/31 AFD for Jan
£96.43 for GC for Jan
Feb targets
NSD = 20 5-in-a-row for 3 weeks
AFD = 26 minimum
GC - £100 maximum
Petrol = £180 maximum - new target to aim for to give me some idea of spends and what I can try and cut back on
Also stick to budgets as outlined above
Not a terribly great today as feel pretty wiped out after all that studying in January and could do with a few days to recover and get some sleep. Decided against going for a run as felt really tired today so hoping to go tomorrowfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
NSD 1/20 today
Run after work - 40mins quick run in the cold which I wasn't really looking forward to but enjoyed once out.
Not much else to report apart from very tired and off for an early night to catch some zzzzz'sfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
NSD 2 today. A good start to the month ahead
Tomorrow is food shop day which is sticking hard to my written shopping list. Stick to it and stick to the meal plan too. And, stick to my £15 budget for what I need to buy on the list
Here we go then with Friday's plan
Early dog walk
Dash to the supermarket and top up with fuel with £25max spend - get uni money ready and train fare money
Stick to shopping list and £15max spend
Steady sensible drive to uni and drop books off if time otherwise straight to work
Finish a little early at work tomorrow and return home to take dog out straight away
Go for long run again
Back home, warm up eat and treat self to a fresh cream meringue as my slightly frugal weekend treatfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Tra la la lala lala lalaaaa!
2lb more shifted and almost there - 1lb left to shift
1/2 inch lost from waist and hips, happy where I am now, healthy and happy, should be able to maintain this too
Anyway back later on to report how the long run went tonight - frosty I bet!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Went for a run and boy was it hard going in the cold. Legs felt heavy and I didn't feel exactly bouncing along either so cut it short by a mile or so. It was very cold out there. Either way its done and dusted for this week as it looks like snow tomorrow and maybe not running on Sunday if its the same. this week is a plod and tick over week in the winter I reckon
Anyway time to get warm with a cup of tea or hot chocolate and then get a couple of NSDs in this weekend - maybe?final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Weight loss update stats
just to remind me of how far I've come and that if you stick to it, you can do it. Now I need to realise to apply the same logic to my finances - stick to the plan and I'll get there in the end and if it takes longer it doesn't matter at all, its where you end up that's the most important thing of all.
So, I post this to remind myself of what I can achieve when I set my mind to something and it clicks and falls into place.
Weight lost 1st 11lb - 1lb or 1kg to go now
Total inches lost = 18.5
Waist 4.5"
Hips 5"
Chest 3.5"
Thigh 2"
Calf 1.5"
Arms 2"
Dress sizes dropped = 214 to 10 quite unbelievable

Well, it wasn't a NSD afterall after I had a mooch around Debs today looking at the sale, then bought a really nice top for £15.20 reduced from £38.
Plus points - size 10, good price and looks nice with tight black trousers or jeggings or a pencil skirt and heels. Tried on a skirt at home that never really fit properly and now it fits which is a surprise. Not that great a skirt so I'm going to wash it and see if it comes back better. Anyway the top looks nice with it and would look nice with a wide belt too with a big buckle so will have a look in Matalan see what is in there. Otherwise I might wear it for work one day with some work shoes when I finally find a new pair that are suitable. So I will wear the skirt one day! Hopefully on a night out with the top which would be best of all!
Downside - tried top on with another skirt at home - now too big and baggy so something else that doesn't fit alongside quite a few other things.
Anway, no more clothes buying for a while now until the weight maintains a bit and gives me time to catch back up with the clothing budget for the year ahead. It is only Feb afterall!
Just found a nice recipe to use up a lonely bramley apple tomorrow for pud and was good buying reduced fat custard today instead of a pie and full fat custard. I was craving comfot food today for some reason.
Not much snow here, a flurry and about a cm this afternoon but very cold indeed so I'm in for the night keeping warm and cosy and in fact its time to start tea and have a nice warm bath to pamper and cheer myself up a little. I've been so tired today it was a surprise. I can't remember the last time I felt this way so glad I'm not up to much this weekend.
I think I'll spend tomorrow making one lot of soup, a pasta sauce to freeze, put a loaf on, the ironing and cleaning then the week starts again!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Boys in white watched who scraped or grafted a win in the rugby - yeah! Love 6 nations time! When it ends its spring time too! Bonus!
Right enough exclamation marks now. Time to chill with the first glass of wine in 5 weeks now - whoops! Another exclamation mark appearedfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Right then what's going on today?
I've been for a nice long walk in the snow and then cleared snow off the car. Next is soup making and then clean the bathroom and mop the floor.
Then ironing, lunch, clean BR and LR, make pasta sauce to freeze, tidy kitchen up, parcel up return for next week, take photo of casserole dish to sell, watch rugby (of course). Go for another longer walk this afternoon with Mr dog and get uni stuff ready for tomorrow. Read paper for tomorrow too.
Didn't manage to stick to budget this week on shopping. Will try harder next week and really cut back to essentials only. Have meal planned for the week ahead until next Sunday.
And today will be a NSD as will tomorrow and tueday as already have the money for the uni budget and know exactly how much I need and have to spend, in fact should be able to get NSDs in until Thursday I think if I stick to the plan.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
