A bit of a rubbish boring day at work today and then a slightly longer brisk walk with Mr Dog tonight after work. Trying to increase the walk and today added on another 5mins only.

Mildly achy legs this evening after all the exercise so gave tonights run a miss and will have a go with some stretchy yoga later on if I can be bothered.

My sale order arrived today. The black bomber jacket with a big reduction arrived but doesn't look very nice on me, however the bright red/orange soft short jacket also very heavily reduced looks really nice and that was a brilliant surprise.

I didn't expect it to look so nice but it did! So, that's a keeper and will go nice with jeans, and a white or cream top and then this jacket with a pop of summer colour. Might try and get a summer bag in the same colour too if I see one at some point.

The even more heavily reduced cotton daisy print summer black trousers also fitted, again another surprise in a size 10 and a proper waistband. Now that was a surprise so keeping these, thinking a bright orange/red top will go nicely with them, or again a white or cream top and maybe even the red jacket if I feel brave enough

So that's all the clothes shopping required now apart from some dearly lusted after bright blue jeans and a summer skirt at some point if I can find one reduced enough! The bomber jacket is going back at the weekend though which although was a good price does not look at all nice on me so its time to go back otherwise it'll stay in the wardrobe unworn and that's what I'm trying to avoid doing this year and concentrate on wearing what I have and fabbing myself up with them!

Food shopping day today to stock up on fruit, some veg, milk and then some meat and fish to freeze. So that's some of the running food in ready to go into meals for energy and recovery.

Tomorrow I'm having pancakes for tea to use up some eggs and flour and lemon juice or orange juice and bought some 1kcal oil spray today on offer to bring the kcals down a bit.

Hoping to dash home, make the batter, take the dog for a walk then dash out for a run then come back to flip some pancakes :D

I have finally accessed my results after some big mix ups (not me)

..................................................and I passed! Yeah! The result dragged my average up to over 60% where I want it to stay above not below and get a merit pass overall.

Phew! So the dreams about failing it were only dreams - phew!

Also went for a run this morning before work and got 4 miles in. Worked over tonight so can leave early tomorrow and try the smidge under 10 mile run again. Unfortunately my ipod seems to have given up in the wheel area. Oh no! Please work a few months more, you have done so well.

Celebratory fresh cream meringue just eaten and now a hot chocolate on its way.

Back to uni next week. Have completed 5 modules now, one still waiting for results in 2-3 weeks and one more on the go with the final one in a couple of months time. Getting there now and also getting some idea about my dissertation now after some specific reading done. Unfortunately left that at work place and will need to call in for it first thing tomorrow to get it!

Phew its the weekend, what a relief

Did the 10mile run tonight after work. Went ok overall, better than last week on the energy levels so eating all day did the trick. Think I need to go back to the shorter runs over the next week to try and build a bit of speed and strength back up ready to try the long run again next weekend.

What else to report. Not much, still happy about passing the assihgnment and had a little daydream on the run about passing the whole course and graduating with a big smile.

This weekend will be filled with rugby watching, marmalade making and usual cleaning and ironing. Hoping on Sunday to go for a little run, finish off the cleaning and then do some reading while watching the rugby in the afternoon. Plus I will take my dog out on a nice long walk too as the weather looks pretty good for this weekend.

A tremendoulsy lazy morning so far consisting of meal planning for the week ahead and including uni days. Bit sick of eating sandwiches so I'm ringing the changes with a BNS salad for lunches and hoping it tastes nice!

I did manage to drag myself up to sweep and mop the floors so at least that jobs done, then its a big blob of pasta salad for lunch then onto a quick whizz round with the hoover and get the marmalade on the go before pampering myself up ready for tea out tonight. Still pretty tired from that run yesterday. Really need to work out how to recover a bit better than this. Still its better than last week so a step in the right direction

Looks like today is a NSD at long last and number 12 - no chance of getting to 20 this month after little shops most days last week for some reason which is a bit out of habit for me these days. Oh welll never mind, live and learn for the next month again

Quite productive couple of hours consisting of making pasta salad for lunch for today and tomorrow. Taking loaf out of BM - such hard work!

Also cleaned up BR and LR, hoovered house, emptied all bins and composting, brought in half the washing and folded up neatly, changed the bedding, popped another load into wash and sorted out tomorrows jobs of cleaning boots and washing. Then oranges are prepped for marmalade making tomorrow and shopping list written for next week.

now fabbing myself up with a facemask, hair mask and tidied up nails

Back tomorrow which involves the following list
    Ironing
    Washing
    Clean boots and trainers
    Marmalade
    Shopping
    make casserole for tea
Run either 4 or 6 miles
Finish off reading the paper that's take all week and attempt to read a chapter from core book
See if have enough time to do a quick garden tidy up

  • A big pan of marmalade on the go which has used up half the sevilles and the rest are in the freezer to make some more later in the year also used up a lot of sugar so more space gained in the cupboards again.

Washing all done now and on the line and then its onto the last bit of cleaning and ironing, before a walk up to the shop for some food shopping for the week ahead. Looks like this afternoon will be pretty clear and I'll get out for another run and see how my legs are after the long run on Friday. Then it really is no excuse time for some study reading! As if! Let's see how many excuses I come up with no to do it!
