Really pleased I went for a run today. I finished early and on the way home listened to a radio programme, part of which discussed the benefits of running. This made my mind up to go as it made me smile. The sun was bright and the air was cool then mild. I ran my shorter route of 4miles and zoomed back within a tremendous time of 33mins.

Next run is the long run on Friday. I think I'll be glad when this training is over and can run a shorter route again. 8 weeks to go to get to full distance of 13.1 miles

Anyway, decided as I had so many lovely comments today about how I looked and how much weight I had lost I've decided to maintain for a while. Doing this keeps my within target for all this week and way under for most days. Quite happy about this for now. I'll have a few weeks off and then if I want to I'll go back to try and losing those final few lbs. So the next target is to not put anything back on. I am happy where I am and all my clothes fit or are a little too big.

Had a nice early night last night and slept right through. Must have needed that. Think will have another early night tonight too after reading another paper for the resub assignment.

Tomorrow is a day off running, work later and then a day off on Friday to do quite a lot; long run, shopping, long dog walk, bit of cleaning and studying. Who knows how I'll get on with that list!

Happy - the weekend has arrived - yipee! Finished work on time today and took Mr Dog on his usual walk in the chilly sunshine.

Have just carbed up ready for tomorrow's long run of just a smidge under 12 miles plus quite a bit of chocolate consumed as craving this. Equally large carby meal to eat for lunch tomorrow to fuel the run.

    Friday plan
    Get up early
    Washing loads on
Go for early morning long walk with Mr Dog
    Come home and go shopping
Return home and clean for an hour max
    Studying for 2 hours
    Usual dog walk pm
    Long run
    Flop down for a rest
Attempt an hours study after recovered if can be bothered!

    Sat
    Ironing
    Finish cleaning
    Studying for 2hrs

Doing ok so far and just about to do an hour of assignment rewriting

Got up and took Mr Dog on a nice long walk as it was lovely this morning. Got all the bedding out to dry on the line too. Nipped up to Mr M and managed to stay within £20 for the week.

Meal planned for next week to try and get back on track a bit after feeling a little run down and compensating by eating lots of choccy. Anyway that job's done too now for next week. Exercise also planned in for next week.

Cleaning done so far is LR, BR, stairs, swept and mopped floors, bins all emptied and swept up all straggly leaves from outside ready for bin collections next week.

Back later with a run update!

Hello, good to see you're still zooming about being positive & energetic :)

Fell off my diet wagon due to early Mothers Day cake, back on it as from Monday though.

    Have a lovely week end

And you have a lovely one too.

I'm just back from an 11.8 miles run which although tiring in a slow and steady 1hr 57mins, went well. Came in at just under 10min mile pace which I'm really pleased with for the distance. It's coming together well at last and I think all the months of plugging away over the winter are finally paying off. Now that's a result I'm pleased with!

Feel ok today after yesterday's long run

Today I'll be collecting the top I ordered in the sale last week for a bargainous £12 down from £35. Hoping it looks nice as its in a different style to what I usually go for but hey why not?

    Todays plan
Walk into town for errands and collect top, drop off trousers for altering, look for new trainers
Clean bathroom and wipe over kitchen, bring chair downstairs
    HHI
Fit in a long dog walk inbetween rugby this afternoon
    Sort out washing for later
Take stuff out of freezer to defrost for tomorrow
    Do work on assignment

    Ok how did today go?

    Pretty well indeed!

Walked to town and back - no trainers in the sports shop so the wait goes on for a bit longer and I put up with my hammered ones for a week longer
Trousers going for alteration in a couple of weeks time - delayed until then
Nice long dog walk this afternoon
    Washing sorted
    Ironing done
Rugby watched - well done to Wales but England were fantastic. What a great turnaround from the World Cup. Well done boys and team and keep at it
    Stuff defrosting ready for tomorrow
    Cleaning finished

Assignment - hmm last place as usual and about to make a start - well think so at least

Eaten a lot today, a scone and a full small easter egg. Proper chocolate cravings again today

Anyway meal planned again for next week to get back on track again and all of the heavy kcal and fat chocolate is now gone.

Had a good visit to town and picked up some bits I needed at some pretty good prices

Next run is tomorrow morning, hoping to get out pretty early on and there and back while the dinner cooks

A tremendous run this morning a new time for me coming in at 52mins for 6 miles cutting another 2mins off the time from last week. Its coming together now for sure, here's hoping it carries on this way.

A lovely run in the spring air, coming back under a bright blue sky, a lovely start to the day

A lovely day with my family today eating a good roast dinner and lovely pud, a nice walk in the sunshine and chilly fresh air.

Now feeling quite full and tired and an early night is on the cards ready for the week ahead which luckily is a short 3 days this week and then the holiday begins!

A nice 4 mile run today after work in 35mins, not quite as quick as one run last week but the same time as the other run
