Woke up full of beans today then a long day at work with a very sad incident occurring which finally got resolved late in the day
Returned home for a long walk with Mr Dog in the bright spring air close to sunset.
Very average tea of leftovers and rice and veg and a creme egg - yum!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Oh dear, had a funny turn while out for a run last night. Nearly fainted in the street and had to sit down on the kerb while I came round. Early night last night to try and sleep whatever it was off. Feel a little groggy this morning and still not back to normal. No idea what caused this as I felt fine before hand and had eaten and drunk plenty in the day. Definately having today off running and will reassess how I feel tomorrow to see if I feel up to the long run.
Took my measurements this morning - lost another half inch from my waist and hips meaning a full 6" have gone from my hips and 5.5" from my waist. Result! Just a little more to go now maybe another half inch or so
Weight remains the same which is fine as have eaten a load over the last couple of weeks. Have been hungry will all this running! Will have to keep an eye on things and see if I start to put some back on over the next few weeks.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Productive morning after feeling like a huge cold was coming on strong. Cold tablets and coffee taken and then onto
Cleaned BR and LR
Swept and mopped floors
Bins emptied
Washing x 2 drying on line now
Leaving hoovering, lace up walking boots, check ingredients for baking tomorrow still to do, long dog walk if feel ok this afternoon. Chuck some more washing in later on. Early lunch then off for a sports massage to check my muscles are ok after a little soreness has reappeared.
Assignment this afternoon then getting some holiday stuff ready and a slightly manic Friday on the wayfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
No sports massage - got sent home as looked so pale and unwell. Didn't feel that great either, so was the right decision in the end.
Anyway feel a little better now after a nice relaxing bath which used up a long held bottle of bath oil now finished at last. Reminds me of a not nice period of time so feels right now its gone and life has moved on to a new phase recognising the past and embracing the future. Funny how objects can hold such memories, even bottles of bath oil.
Now then all ready to go for tomorrow. Ticked off all the jobs on the list for today. Tomorrow shouldn't be too bad, busy but manageable as will be having a day off running due to yesterday's incident and feeling so unwell. I thought it would be best and the physio also advised a break until I feel better.
Happily tried on the magenta jeggings bought ages ago in the sale and am pleased to report they fit, look nice with my bargain jumpers so total outfit costs are £11. Nice one there!
Jeggings £6
Blue colour block jumper £5
White jumper £5
blue jumper £5
No need to splash out on the £22.50 blue ones then. Will keep an eye out for some dark blue straight leg jeans if they come down in price any further - not low enough yetfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Very happy trip to town to collect clothes order.
Picked up some undies for £2 a pair instead of £5 and some more reduced tights. Tidied out all old stuff had for years and replaced with new for later this year and now. Old greying and worn items gone. Some stuff into CS pile to take in a couple of weeks time and a shirt to see if mum likes it as its now too big for me.
Also bought a new bright shirt that fits instead of being too baggy, It's a lovely bright check and a SIZE 10!. Now I can't remember the last time I fit into a size 10 shirt! Happy happy happy and this came in at £15 with £10 off. I wore my other one lots last year as its a lovely shade of pink. A shame its now too big, but I hope it fits mum.
Size 10 blue pencil skirt is skin tight but fits - RESULT! It's a keeper for sure and looked nice with an ocean colour jumper or anyone of the other tops I have. Probably wear it on a cooler weekend or later on this year but worth getting at less than £9.
What else, popped into primarni to see what they had and bought a new pair of flannel pjs for £3 in the sale. Oh well, will make do with the summer ones I already have and pop these away for autumn time to replace the well worn ones on the way out.
I'm making April a no clothes buying month as I've bought quite a bit over the last couple of months - using the reason quite a bit no longer fits me and when I finally get sick of trying to make it fit off it goes for replacing. I've got plenty of springwear now and then it'll be time to see if the summer stuff fits or not!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Right house all cleaned and sparkly ready for a week's holiday.
Loaf baked to take away, flapjacks done too and half the packing done leaving just my stuff to do now.
Looks like the weather will be pretty good too at least to midweek. If it is that's a good result! Might not spend the week in waterproofs after all!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Hello all,
I'm back after a week away in the summer sun last week. A wonderful, great, brilliant and enjoyable relaxing week away with plenty of hill walking up and down and back up again many times up the high fells.
Was such a great week away with the weather, like it was the middle of summer.
Not much else to report apart from picked up some sale clothes today from order last week and this is the final lot of clothes to buy this month. No more for April and I will stick to this!
So what did I get?
Crepe patterned pencil skirt £9 (£29.50)
Peach top £5 (£8)
Blue mini skirt £12 (£29.50)
Black pencil skirt (£29.50)
2 bras £9 (£16)
Jersey top £7 (£12)
Also succumbed to ordering another skirt for £9 (£32.50) and a pink jumper £6 (£18) and finally a summer linen mix skirt £7 (£29.50)
Took 8 items in to try on and just bought the skirt and top and stayed strong with the rest to not bother with just because they were reduced in the sale. Pleased I tried them on first and made that decision. The other one's above will arrive by the end of the week and I'll see if these fit AND look nice! As I did today when the secret support skirt was not bargainous to buy as it squashed me beyond belief despite having over £20 off the price at £9.
Had a little clear out of the wardrobe when I got back to remove from autumn/winter items anything I haven't worn, doesn't fit or I feel frumpy in.
OUT - my beloved black skirt that is far too big, my beloved grey denim pencil skirt which is also way too big and I'm sick of them falling down and adjusting them, a work cardi I really don't like and have worn a lot. Finally, an old work shirt I've had since I was at uni many many years ago. It's time for it to go. I haven't worn it for years and it just stays in my wardrobe so, although it fits, it really is time to say goodbye to my shirt.
I'm going to get rid of a couple of jumpers when the cold weather finally goes and I do the clothes swap over which are well worn to the point of no more and no more repairs. Might get another season out of them first though! Then it really is it
Then it'll be time for the summer clothes sort out - see what fits first, get rid of what doesn't fit and then see what I don't like or won't wear.
At the moment the wardrobe is in quite a good state with most things being worn. Apart from going out clothes - as I rarely go out these days. Oh well, one day maybe some of them get an outing......
I'll sort the stuff out to take to the CS next weekend, see if mum wants any and then its onto the coats and shoes to sort out. Then all is done and decluttered!
Had a couple of weeks off running after the funny turn the other week and then being on holiday with enough exercise going on without running too! Hoping to have enough motivation to get out tomorrow for a run after work and no doubt my head will need clearing out after first day back.
Also had a week off the diet with plenty of treats which was a little strange at time as not used to eating lots of what I did eat. Anyway its back onto the maintainance track again next week. Don't think I've put anything back on as all the new stuff was a size 10 and when tried at size 12 skirt on it was too big. So that was good after the many treats consumed after lots of kcals burned off hiking

Dragged myself out for a run last night after work - almost talked myself out of it, anyway went on autopilot and got ready to go. Felt quite heavy legged so was quite surprised to get there and back in 35 mins.
Now thinking about next year and whether I can secure a marathon place. Haven't quite decided yet whether to go for it still thinking about it is stage one.
Well back on the hamster wheel of life again back at work, thankgoodness it's a short week. Assignment resub going ok, doing some more work on it tonight, boo! Aiming to get it done by Friday and then try and start the next 3 and do some reading before I ask for an extension for these.
Tomorrow is run day if the weather is ok enough to go, hopefully it will be then only 2 days left to work. Can that weekend get here any quicker?final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I'm having a quiet hour at work to do some assignment work. Done some already and just finished another section. Hoping to get the diet section finished off today and typed up tonight leaving a bit more work to do tomorrow night then quite a lot of word chopping down to fit into the 3000 limit.
Looks like the snow has melted from this morning so should get out for a run tonight afterall if its cleared at home.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Happy today - weigh in day and STS after a week away and quite a few treats consumed!
Then spent some time looking for a new bike and thought over what I'd discussed with one of the salesmen yesterday. Going for a hybrid bike now rather than a full MTB. I decided what i really want a bike for is to try and get to the stage where I can cycle to work and back and then every so often go MTB in the countryside. Going to try some out on Sat and I've found what looks like a great bike online. Lets see what it looks like in reality and what advice I get about a suitable bike
So excited!
Long run day tomorrow after a trip into town and usual dog walking. Then really must get some more of assignment done and finished this weekend.
Might see if I can get a deal at the bike shop on a lock, lights and a very comfy seat too! Here's hoping I can. Well its worth an ask all the same!
Woo hoo its the weekend and a long one at that. Mine will be filled with the usual cleaning, running, visiting family and bikeshopping. One I'm looking forward to apart from the dreaded studying that is.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
