Nice 90 min dog walk almost blown around the pond this afternoon. Hardly anyone else out and about with the gusty winds and choppy water which looked like the sea with the waves
Nice quorn sausage casserole made and toffee meringue for afters - yum, plus naughty dumplings and 3 continentals and little bit of dairy milk. At least the dumplings were lighter version this time around. Plenty of veg eaten today with veg soup, casserole veg and leeks in white sauce. In fact a pretty much veggie day which is fine by me. The quorn sausages were nice and tasty and better then using meaty ones especially for the weight loss kcal counting.

Realised I ran on 4 days this week and I'm aiming for 5 this next week if the weather is ok. This week's mileage was 23.5 and its time to ramp it up a bit more!
So here's the plan

NSDs totting up slowly to number 14/18 today.
Tomorrow is a spend day for food, petrol and dog's hair cut and so on while attempting to stick to the basics for me and not go mad food shopping. I've written a list and will be attempting to stick to it. I'm not restocking on fizzy own brand berrocca as I found some old vit B and C tabs in the cupboard and will use these up next. Yeah, go me eh? £2.50 saved! Believe me I need to save a whole lot more of that so tomorrow's shopping is mainly fruit and veg, couple of household things, dog stuff and thats it. I've got plenty in the freezer again and as usual need to concentrate on eating that up first. At least there's a lot of easy teas in there that don't take much doing after work or a run.
Talking of running, only once so far this week, decided the week a big assignment is due in is not the best week to attempt to run 5 times. Next week maybe? However, I am determined to run today on a short run and hoping for a long run tomorrow again by which point I'll have written a lot of this assignment of course!
Today I'm torturously slowly attempting to write around 1500 words of my assignment. Its going super slowly atm and I've been doing the reference page while I think about what to write. I'm going for it over the next 2hrs and my current word count is a paltry 288 word introduction. As I sit here losing motivation by the second to write this assignment, I've rewritten the intro and 1st para and still on 280 words with many more to go. Anyway re assessment of life time
I have sorted out my fitness
I have sorted out my weight
I have sorted out my TV shopping addiction which is no more
I have sorted out my beauty buying addiction - to what I need only and thanks to the eczema outbreak to helping me do this
I am happy and more outgoing and confidence as returned this last year
I need to sort the money out - this is the only part of my life left to sort out, all other areas are good and healthy apart from this
What can I do? I seriously need some help and I need to make some big changes. I need my money to be mine, not the banks or CC companies. I've said this so many times before and done a bit then tailed off. Now this is the only area left to sort out there's not much hiding from it. Or the other way to look at it is if I can sort out all the above then I can sort out the finances right?

A rather fabulous 8.2 miles run tonight in 78mins which went well.

Normally I just read your posts but today I felt I needed to send you a message. You should be sooo proud of all your achievements so far. You have done brilliantly. But the fly in the ointment is money. I know this is a dumb question but have you tried a money diary? My circumstances changed very suddenly last year and since then I have written down in a notebook every single farthing I have spent. I can then look back and see if my spends were a "want" or a "need". Luckily I have no debt to speak of but I only work 2 days a week and dont earn a fortune. Therefore its crucial that I account for every penny so that I dont get in debt IYSWIM.
Anyway I think you need a gold star, pat on the back, three cheers etc etc for all you have achieved so far. If anyone can sort this out......I`m sure you can!!! :T0 -

I will try the spending diary - I've tried it before but never stuck at it however now I'm in this place I need to stick to it and set it as one of my goals. Then I can see what I spend on what and in reality what I need and what I don't need.
