Another spendy day as I decided I really needed one of those fresh cream meringues this afternoon from the reduced section for 95p for 2. Hmm need to watch out for that and try hard next week not to have any more

Also had to collect the dog's stuff from the vets so another spend for £17.89 and as it was a spend day decided to renew the diet plan membership as its currently on offer so I now have membership until Sept by which time I should be at my target weight for a good few months and most importantly be able to maintain this weight and have learnt how to do this.

It was good deal as it gave 6mths membership for less than the price of 3mths if you stick to monthly so it works out at just over £1 a week and well worth it in my opinion as I don't think I would have ever made the changes I needed to make to my eating without it as it made me aware of what I needed to change in a way I have never realised before.

Happy with this membership as I aim for the next target of 10st. Took my measurements today and have lost a further half inch from my waist and chest meaning I have reached my dream waist measurement I dreamt of on a run last summer which was the thought that kept me going when I wanted to stop! I didn't think it would take this long to get there but just goes to show that you need to hang in for the long term to get there and not expect everything to change quickly.

Anyway, not much else to report apart from found quite a bit of reading for the next assignment whose deadline is rapidly approaching.

Planning a short run tomorrow and a long one on Friday if the weather is ok. And tomorrow will be a NSD as will Friday to catch back up a bit again

Did manage a run tonight after work a 40min gentle plod really. I nearly talked myself out of going as I felt so tired but after talking the dog on his longer walk I felt better and thought I'd better go after seeing so many other runners out there and after stuffing 2 fudges in when I got home as I was HUNGRY!

    Fabulous Friday plan
Wear something nice and bright to work and maybe something new not worn for work
Take dog on usual 1hr walk
Then take self on long run for 1hr 15mins
Attempt to see if washing will dry on a bright winter day
Look for a soup recipe to make at the weekend

That run went really well - I was buzzing when I got back with so much energy. Makes a nice change because they're not all like that. Ran to the running track downloaded for bargain price and I think the slower bpm was ideal on this 7.5mile run. Can't believe the differnece from last week to this. Must be the pasta lunch that did it. Definately doing this again!

So only a soup recipe to find to make this weekend alongside tidying the house up after the studying overload from the last 2 weeks all before doing some study too tomorrow!

Fabbed myself up to go to town to meet up for a coffee and got treated to a coffee then later on a cup of tea and toasted teacake - yummy!

Then called in to get a mascara on the mascara swop exchange, one more to swop and will have a go next weekend to get another one of my favourites for one I dislike - good swap there!

Shopping nearly done apart from liquid gold run later on and collect the badly needed new dehumidifier.

Meal planned for the weekend with some more SW recipes. Wasn't too impressed with the pasta one but will give the chicken stir fry and spag bol ones a go to see if they're any better. Certainly managing not to go mad with the kcals on these recipes which is good.

So its time to do a little cleaning and tidying and then take the dog on a nice long walk on this bright winter's day then onto some reading for the assignment

Well that stir fry was also not up to much - not very tasty for either recipe so not holding out much hope for the spag bol tomorrow either but hey they're low in kcals so that's a good thing at least!

Half the cleaning doen today and all the shopping, liquid gold run and fill up meaning it will be a NSD at long last tomorrow. Boots also returned that were the wrong size and a bag of liquorice torpedoes scoffed!

Blooming freezing here today so heating on now to warm up and dehumdifier collected and now on to try and dehumid the place at long last

Dehumidifier working well and helping dehumid the place and I hope it gets better to try and dedamp the place too.

I've finished the cleaning for today, made 2 lots of cheap soup from celeriac and reduced jerusalem artichokes to have for lunches over the next couple of weeks. Will make another one next weekend to keep me going over the assignment frenzy week after!

Just about to log off and start some reading for the assignment then do some ironing and then go on a long walk before fabbing myself up with some pampering and facemask as didn't do one last week with all the assignment frenzy. Roll on the end of the month for a week off all this uni work!

Ok, no reading done yet! Eek! Will deffo do some tonight. Decided to do the ironing instead and then take the dog on a long walk which was longer than intended but it was a good walk and plenty of fresh air and exercise.

Off to start the spag bol now and then read at least one paper while its cooking and then another 2 tonight - hope so anyway!

A NSD 6/18 - better get a shuffle on next week with these!

NSD 7 yesterday and a little top up shop today for fruit and a few other bits and bobs. Only a few things to get at the weekend so not too much to spend at the weekened. With a new determination to get to 11 by Sunday I'm aiming for NSD Wed-Fri and then one more on Sunday leaving 7 to get over the next week.

I dragged myself out for a run when I really didn't feel like it and eventually talked myself around after a man sprinted past me while I was out of walking the dog. So thanks to him, I talked myself into it and off I went and I enjoyed it and it went pretty well overall! Hoping to go for another run tomorrow to keep ticking over before the long run at the weekend.

Have gone over the kcal allowances so far this week and hoping the running burns the extras off to hopefully, and really hopefully drop another lb or 2 or another inch or so. Will see how I get on as I aim for weigh in day on Friday.

Tried the zumba dvd yesterday and I really didn't like it at all so its going back which is fine as I'm happy doing what I'm doing to keep fit. Not much else to report apart from have done a little reading for the assignment and hopefully half of the assignment is starting to make some kind of sense. Need to focus on the other half now.

Went out for a 55min run tonight which was somewhere around 5 to 6 miles and overall it went ok which was nice. Managed to stay strong and not cave into a mid afternoon treat and got to NSD 8 - 10 more to get before target reached

M+S sale bargains arrived which were my replacement boots which aren't quite as nice as the other pair but are nice and ok and they're staying ready for a night out when my uni work is done and handed in. The purple jeggings were bright and tighter than I expected but I managed to get into a pretty tiny pair of size 10 jeggings which amazed me! I'm keeping them as a) they cost £7; b) I'm slimming down to lose another 3lbs and c) they look nice with the white short sleeve jumper which cost £5 in the sale too. The purple tunic top I'm not too sure about so will have a think about it and see what it looks like with black and dark blue jeans.

So for £19 that's a thin jumper for spring and a pair of jeggings for colour blocking which I really like and maybe a new top for work if its a keeper. So not too bad overall. Also ordered a new size sm belt as couldn't find one in the shops and this cost £12.50! Its nice though and I'm keeping it as its leather and goes well with the straight leg jeans and so on.

I can't quite get used to being a size small belt as I've never been this and I can't get used to being a size 10 bottom half from M+S. That is weird. The clothes fit like a 12 used to when I lost some weight and I guess they fit like a 14 used to. It's still pretty weird though as I never expected to get to a size 10 and I don't feel like a size 10. Especially when I haven't lost any weight for a while. Bizarre!

Still I think I'm aiming for 3lbs to drop off then have a think about whether I want to get any lower to the under 10st bracket. I don't think I need to for clothes but I think I have quite some time to go before I reconsider this.
