£61.25 left out of GC Budget until 27 Apr - 25 days to go making it £15 per week until then! Eek!

Luckily I have all my cleaning products, plenty of storecupboard and baking items, plenty in the freezer to use up - must remember only will need fruit and veg and milk so should be able to come in at £130

Feeling a bit fed up again, keep thinking how I wish things were different. Well they're not and tomorrow is another day - early night I think and wake up feeling brighter tomorrow

  • Thanks dizzy - I didn't find it patronising at all in fact it was lovely to read what you wrote. Its good for me to read that and not lose hope that things will change one day, probably when I'm ready and don't realise it until then

Glad to hear you went to the gym - my advice would be start small and don't overdo it and lose hope. Tiny building blocks suddenly add up. When I started running I could barely run across the road and after 8 weeks I could run 3 miles after building up slowly and not losing motivation to keep going

3 MILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek: Will practise and update you...

    Gammon in cola
Leeks in white sauce and some other veg
    Potatoes

Marmalade pudding with custard or cream

    Later

    Scones with jam
    Ham sandwhiches if needed
    Maple and pecan bundt cake

    Yum, yum, yummmm :D:D:D

Lovely post from Little bit dizzy

Thanks Lula. Just kind of how it is, always talking from the heart - gets me in trouble usually! :)

Then in another 12 weeks I got to 6 miles!

Now I'm sidelined for a while my new plan is to get back to 3 miles then 6 then build up to 12miles and run in a half marathon this time next year

Do you know what - I'm sick of feeling fed up about this so from tomorrow I WILL wake up in a brighter mood, I WILL have a great day with my family and spoil them and then EVERY DAY next week I am going to be in a good mood. I am NOT going let work bring me down or the ex. In fact I am not going to contact him at all.

    Plan is
    Sunday - Mother's Day lunch
Monday - Work, fly around a room as per the flylady list, read a chapter out of the book then feel great at how much have achieved plus a NSD too
Tuesday - Work, vets, fly around a room as per flylady, finish off chapter from Monday and feel great at sticking to the list, and have already cleaned 2 rooms this week
Wed - Work, fly, read, NSD, plant something in the garden, read half a chapter or more
Thurs - Work, physio, plant something in the garden, fly, read half a chapter finish off from Wed
Fri - DAY OFF! Go out with mum for the day and treat both of us!
Sat - go into town for a few things - fence repair stuff, weekly shop to come in on budget of £15 or less, finish off flying, plant a few seeds etc if time or HHI
Sun - NSD, study for a few hours, garden for a few hours, bake something nice and bath the dog, make some squash or something similar

Aim for NSD x 3 for next week, have agreat day off work, fly to free up the weekend, do a bit of studying through the week and feel very pleased at achieving that as I always put it off!

Already feel better about things - bring on the week ahead!

You are a one woman whirlwind

I really dont know how you fit so much in to your day, I am awestruck at what you achieve alongside working & studying :A Was wondering what variety is your dog & does he/she stay at home while you're at work ?

I truly appreciate the thought of the cake, could send you dimensions of the cat flap which is how the postie always gets my ebay parcels in :rotfl:, but it's really not necessary. It's just lovely to be able to support & help other people on their journeys to DFdom :). Having spent the last few months on here being incredibly self centred, now that I've achieved my own goal & can calm down a bit, I intend on bothering lots of other threads now & yours always smells of heavenly home-baked goodies :D.

Hope you & your mum have a lovely day tomorrow :)

What a bad nights sleep that was - took ages and ages to get off as my mind went over and over things - feeling groggy this morning. But will try and find my positive mood somewhere today

Lula - I have a border terrier who stays at home while I'm at work - he's a little angel and very well behaved and very excited when I get home from work for his walk!

It doesn't feel like I fit some much in my day as I have plenty of time to sit around really - must like being busy I reckon!

    Have a good day too

You really are such an inspiration. As Lula said 'whirlwind'.

I think I may try planning like you do. I tried 'room flying' and it does work. Should start that again as the house is shameful at the minute :o...

Also, after work I'm usually so shattered I cook, eat, fall onto sofa and stare at the telly until bedtime. Will have to be more organised as have to incorporate the gym now too.

By the way: 6 MILES!!!

Not sure if I'll be able to run at all as I have shockingly bad knees, but I'm pretty good at Very Fast Walking. I suppose fast walking 3 miles is almost as good as running it... I'm hoping that as the muscle in my legs improves and the weight comes down the knees may improve. We'll see.

Enjoy your lunch, hope you & your Mum have a fab day. The menu sounds delicious.

Hope you don't get soggy toast Lula!!!

Had a lovely day with my family - lots of laughing this afternoon which was great. Stuffed full of food with lots of leftovers to work out what to do with!

    NSD 2 also

Just making a note of what to do tomorrow after work to remind me so I can tick it off

Feeling brighter today and a lot happier now after today. Mum really liked her present which was also rather lovely too!

You sound a bit like me after work but the days I do some cleaning after work add up towards a free er weekend which is always great and nice to think at the time I don't have to spend the weekend cleaning. I'm aiming for one a day next week or maybe 2 on some days and then a couple of days off as have a couple of after work appts next week.

Best of luck with the gym and remember to take it steady at first then you get there instead of pushing too hard and not going back. Don't worry about how much you do at first - your body needs time to adapt to taking some exercise if its not used to it plus fast walking is also great for exercise too!
