NSD number 9 it is today!

Slighty addicted the Chris Moyles Live for the last 2 days - good laugh and well done! Nice to hear the old rave back room style with mistajam too!

Not much getting done on the studying attempt though with this in the background, still the weekend to give it a try!

    NSD 10 today - yeah!

At last got out for a run today after I decided to overcome the cold this way after 2 weeks with it and the 10k race is rapidly approaching. Ok it was hard work running 3 miles at 6.30am before work but had to be done. I think it was more to do with not having much energy after not eating anything since tea time the night before. Did enjoy a pegging it downhill run though for a change for part of it!

And for the pay off as much as you can in 2011 challenge I worked out I have paid off 37% of my target for this year so another woo hoo there I think!

So this weekend might just be

    Sat
    try a 10k run
bit of tidying up in the garden
    lots of rugby watching!
Bit of reading for assignment and course next week

Got quite a lot done today so far.

Pleased to have done the supermarket shop for £19 - have a lot in so can do this and tackle some of the freezer overload

All cleaning done and dusted now for a record breaking finish on a Sat afternoon leaving tomorrow time for the 10k run and gardening tidy up and seed sowing etc. Just some washing to bring in from the washing line and where did the nice weather go to? Lots of thick grey cloud now covering up a lovely blue sky

I saw the moon last night so luminous it was like a bright torch light - bright and beautiful and luminous, lovely to see and I hope the sky is clear enough tonight to take another look as it looks so close to us too.

Well as the rugby's on I'm just deciding what to bake for this week and then go for a short 5k run before the Eng V Ireland match starts

GC update is £96 spent and £44 left until March 31st - might just scrape it for this month

NSDs are 10/15 and tomorrow should be one too anyway 5 more to get before March 31st.

Back later on as I go off to find some motivation to go for a run!

    Ok update time

5k run which was very hard work and not enjoyable at all - need to stick at it again and it will get easier soon
Chocolate and orange loaf cake baked and now cooling

Still recovering from the run! So garden is delayed for an hour while I have something to eat and yet another drink to recover then its onto that list

NSD going well so far, lets see if I can hang in there and not order anything at all today

Got NSD 11 today and planned for another 4 NSD next week

    Gardening went well
Tidied up the easier half and filled up recycling bin for collection
Planted out half of what needed doing - garlic/onions/carnations and potted on some salad leaves
Planted some more salad seeds and cucumber seeds but still have plenty to do when I get a minute

    Running plan
    Maybe Monday
    Def Tues/Wed
    Maybe Thurs
    Def Fri
    Def Sun

Ok no run as legs a bit tired after a 40min walk there and a 40min walk back from uni and a 20min walk with the dog equalling 2hrs walking today and tomorrow will be the same but will need to go out for a run tomorrow

Better news is a NSD 12 as drew out the train fare of spend day Sat and also the coffee money for uni too and took everything else with me lunch, fruit and snacks and water and drink carton and didn't spend anything on anything else as planned so NSD it is!

Better log off soon after ipod is charged and updated with podcasts ready for tomorrow and do a bit of reading for Day 1 of the course. This one is going to be a difficult as its a subject I know nothing about atm!

NSD 13 today - 3 in a row now this week

No run as another 2hr walking session, I will really get back out there tomorrow for a run and maybe reccy the course a bit

Tomorrow is a study day too so I am aiming for another NSD to get to 14 and 4 in a row

Not much else to report apart from lots of reading and studying to go this week so quite a tough week but nice to have a break from work for a change

NSD 14 today - 1 more to get to the target of 15.

Tomorrow may be a spend day as I don't think I have anything to take in for lunch tomorrow - will have a shuffle around in the freezer in a minute to see

Friday is a spend day as planning to call in after uni to pick up some bits from town and the weekend also may be a spend day too as planning some nice trips out

But its ok as have 4 days to go next week to get there

So on the study day I did 3 hours reading and will be doing some more in a bit as its very hard going for me to understand!

Also cleaned the house, leaving the bathroom to do before the end of the week. Also got lots of washing done on this lovely sunny day and I also planed some more seeds today which were parsley, beetroot, tomatoes, kale, radishes, spring onions and peas. Will have a look through to see if there are anymore to do at this weekend

Right better get off and do some more reading then!

10k race is off after it turns out my foot is causing my leg pain from running and compacting all the muscle in my leg. So I made an appt to see a sports physio as the pain has been increasing with mainly 3 weeks of rest from running. I will need approx 4 weeks of treatment to improve this and we decided it was best for now to not run in the 10k and let the problem heal properly

So my foot is taped up for support and I'll be having a gait test when the muscles stops compacting and eases off. Looks like might need new trainers and new insole depending on the result of all of this

Looks like I might have to do some non impact sessions in the local gym to not lose all my fitness over the next 4-6 weeks

Price is £4.90 per session £88.20 for 3 sessions per week for 6 weeks or £80 for 3 months

The next gym is £14.99 per month and I expect the minimum contract is 12mths - total cost = £179.88

So the council gynm wins on price but I don't really want to sign up to what I won't use and I might drag the Lateral Thigh Trainer out of retirement for a few weeks instead

Cost for physio is £30 per session and expect 4-6 sessions costing between £120-180
Can claim 50% back so £15 per session and costs £60-90 which is a lot better

Not a NSD and neither will tomorrow be either and very achy leg at the moment with muscle freeing up a little!
