Yes I wish you were close by too! It would be good to ''see'' you!

Rugby was tense and I thought Scotland might do an Italy like yesterday but the Grand Slam is on so next Sat is a 8hr rugby fest starting at 2pm for all 3 matches. I'll be in with all food in and watching!

Chicken noodle soup for tea in leftover poaching water and vegetable with rice noodles, some purple brocoli added alongside rice noodles and some soy and chilli sauce and lemon juice. Was nice for tea, didn't fancy much. Made enough for 2 meals then when I tubbed it up for work tomorrow looks like there's enough for 2 more meals.

Well still feeling this cold and wish it would go

Forgot to mention it was NSD 7 today - yipee!

Next week aiming for 4/5 NSD for the work week Mon-Fri to get to 11 by this time next week

Right off to use up the rest of the poaching stock into a soup with lentils and rice and bit of veg then pot up and freeze - only just thought of this at 8pm! Hmm rubbish!

1 hour later 6 portions of vegetable, lentil and rice soup made and although it doesn't sound that great, it is nice and tasty. I added juice of 2 lemons (have loads in and need to use them before they go off and lemon juice was nice in the noodle soup tonight), parsley and loads of salt and pepper

6 x 300ml portions at cost price must be around 40p? per portion 1 cup red lentils and 2 cups brown rice, 2 carrots and 1 leek, 2 lemons, bit of parsley and 2 litres of chicken stock poaching liquid.

Jobs done for today. Feels nice getting back in the habit of stretching food and thinking about lunches for work and batch cooking again. Haven't had much head space to think about this with uni stuff going on apart from chucking potatoes in the oven to bake that was about all I could manage!

Oh well back to work tomorrow again for another week. Really could do with a week off but none booked until Easter and guess what? My assignment is due in straight after the BH and then its my exam. How did I guess it would be eh? Oh well should be ok though as its 1000 words this time and one massive exam!

Chicken noodle soup was nice for lunch with a choc chip cookie for afters. Needed some nourishment today.

Bought the dogs food for the next few months - big sack of food, some bonios and some treats and chews so £45 later should be enough to last or it had better be!

Just deciding what to use the chicken up in
    a) chicken, brocoli and pasta bake
    b) chicken and brocoli pie
    c) chicken fried rice
    d) Chicken canneloni

and worryingly that's probably enough for the rest of the week plus tonight is beef pie - might have to freeze some I think!

Well as I'm off work today after feeling more than yuk yesterday and not that great when I got up to go the work, still don't feel that marvelous but better for taking it easy so it looks like a relaxing day is needed to recover from the virus that won't go away at all after the stresses and strains of the last few weeks.

Here's hoping feel better tomorrow and go back in

    Savings plan update

£365 in 365 days going well - may use in Jan for a greenhouse or CC debt £365
£35 per month for 12mths - matures in March again for a holiday £420
£20 per month for 12 mths - matures in Dec for a pair of boots - £240

It may look with my CC that I can't save but I have got in the swing of things with £365 and sealed pot challenge and as its in smaller amounts I can save it rather than spend it in the shops or online and then its a lump sum and I can use it for a holiday next year, CC or a greenhouse while I continue to tackle the CC debts

Topped up the cleaning supplies while out for the dentist appt. Should not need many other bathroom cleaning products for quite a while now £12 spent and should last 3-4mths

Dentist - oh no its an unexpected root canal in 2 weeks time - very unexpected and very unwanted, the only bit of a brightside is I can claim the cost back from my cashback plan allowance for the year hoping that will cover most of the cost if not all

    NSD 8 today
    Tired from work
    More work tomorrow
Time to start reading for studying once again - off I go on chapter 1 - tomtetomtomtom - off on the road to the next module - make it more well planned this time, stick to the plan and not the marathon run in as has been for the other 3. Make it work this plan - remember how hard work it was last time!
