GC update with a £32 spend today on enough to last quite a while
HM pizza for tea had 4/8 pieces so plenty left over to eat tomorrow

Made some enquiries to beauty companies about what products contain the ones I'm allergic to and had some very pleasant and helpful responses and awaiting the ingredient listings to see what I can use and what I can't

Still feel pretty energyless - couldn't really be bothererd to go shopping today so went food shopping instead. Realised now I have kept away from the shops so much over the last year that I'm not really too bothered about shopping now so much so I couldn't be bothered with the rugby scrum in M+S so decided to give the clothes shopping a miss.

Might have a trip into town tomorrow for a few bits andthen call in at the supermarket for a couple of bits and a sack of dog food.

Hoping for a lie in the morning for a change - lets see if my internal alarm clock goes off instead!

£170 paid to CC1 this morning bring the balance to £1551 down from £1972 in Jan

If I stay on track I should have paid it off by Nov 2011 which will be great! DFD remains the same so hard work needs to carry on for the repayments. Might see what I have left at the end of the month to see if I can squeeze another payment in to take it upto £200 for March

Imagine if this money was mine, what I could do with it instead of having to watch every penny and think about what I spend it on?

I went shopping yesterday and kept thinking I won't get that, its too expensive, or I don't need it - looks like the penny has dropped still!

Can't wait until I've paid this first card off, see if my credit score improves, then onto CC2 and start the repayment plan for this one. There is no way I'll ever have 4 ccs ever again, what was I thinking?

Anyway today is a bit of basic food shopping, walk up to town to look for picture frames, then back for a garden tidy up, baking and rugby watching

Had another play with the snowball calculator and if I add another £20 to the repayment plan for cc1 I can pay it off by Oct and my DFD changes to Jan 2014 which is less than 3 years away now to pay off 4 CCs and a loan repaid in full by July 2014

Think I'll pay this extra at the end of the month if I have it in my a/c to catch up and watch the total come down again.

The first lot of baking didn't turn out too well after using a too big pan to cook the parkin in. Never mind onto the cookies next.

Gone quite chilly here now, better keep any eye on the washing

Feeling pretty chilled now at long last, pottered about doing housework, washing, cooking meal planning, tidying etc and feel much better for it. Was going to go waking tomorrow but think I will stop at home and finish off the cleaning and do some gardening instead then watch the Eng V Scot rugby match and continue the chilled out feeling

How nice it is not to have an assignment on my mind - this might only last until next weekend as back at uni after that but hey great it is now!

Baking wise - unsuccessful baking oatmeal parkin rock hard too thin in a too big tin. Successful nigella choc chip cookies - brill!

Now for tea is a chicken poaching a la nigella from the kitchen book and lets see how that is with some steamed spuds and then plenty of leftovers for salads, pie, noodles and stock

Tra la la la la feeling good!

Might even for for a run tomorrow now feeling so much better - yeah!

    Hello & apologies for absence,

well done on the assignment :T.

Hope the cold is nearly history - definitely dont try running again until fully recovered; you'll do far more harm than good.

Today is the perfect day for pottering & watching rugby :D

I'm ashamed to say my freedom mondays have fallen so far behind that they're now freedom saturdays. Still cant quite get the nerve to try out any daring things for work - I started in black trousers & apart from last summer, havent budged far from that.

    Must try harder :o

Same here, I'm stuck in my jeggings as per usual and long jumpers as per usual rotated over the week. Freedom outfits aren't working for me as I feel a bit too podgy for them atm

No running today as still feel run down more than ever today for some strange reason. So instead decided to do some batch cooking for meals to go in the freezer and make some easy teas over the next few weeks.

Curry x 3 portions made out of 500g diced lamb = approx £1.92 per portion and used up 2 green pepper, some almost off coriander and the usual ton of spices in the cupboard

Steak and mushroom pie in a large pie dish x 3 portions approx £1.80 per portion

Chicken poached yesterday made a large meal last night which was quite plain but maybe thats what I needed and was nice so £10 organic chicken still has half the breast, 2 legs and some other bits left over and here goes a plan to use it up
    chicken noodle soup x 2
    chicken salad x1
Chicken pie (might have to give this a miss due to the steak pie this week and will be a bit pied out!)
    Chicken and pasta x2
Chicken stew x 2 with rice or potatoes

equals approx 8 meals at £1.30 per portion/meal

Not too bad costings overall just need to use up the veg and potatoes this week alongside all of this and have a couple of meat free meals if possible

    Another plan for the cc's

Pay off CC1 as planned aiming for Oct 2011 then see if I can transfer either all or some of the balance of the nasty 25% apr card onto a lower BT rate. I really hope I can then I can close that one down when its paid off. Meaning I might still have 4 cards at this stage but if the majority of the balance is on a much lower rate I'll be happy and focus on paying off the higher balance then move onto the lower one when thats done

Time to reassess in November when should be at this point

Luscious sounding menu as ever. Shame I dont live near you, I could happily help you out with the eating & then you'd be far less podgy :D.

I know what you mean though, the podge has certainly knocked my confidence & 'adventurous outfit' spirit.

I have a huge batch of vegetables simmering away in my slow cooker that should do at least 2 meals for me.

    Rugby's a bit tense :(
