2bf its the 1st qtn i ask a network when i wanna upgrade. 200mb wont even last me a week.

if the text/email/letter is recent then its a recent change, as O2 didnt have that b4!

i am with O2 and they have angered me with their 'unlimited' bolt ons.

some months i can download 5GB of data before they stop me, this month they stopped me at 2.5GB.

i called and had a rant, they said they pickup excessive use manually.

Unlimited no longer means Unlimited in most cases.

There are NO unlimited mobile broadband packages any longer and most service providers be it main line or mobile are capped.

I appreciate that you don't want to have to spend more, but would one of the Mifi dongles (clicky) help? For those that don't know, a Mifi dongle takes your mobile broadband sim and turns it into a wifi hotspot - essentially, it broadcasts the mobile broadband as if it were a mobile router.

With Three, you can pay a one-off fee of £39.99 and then have a 30-day rolling contract giving you 5Gb of streaming for £15. Clip the Mifi Dongle to your belt, connect your iPhone to the wifi signal from the dongle and off you go. You can then carry on streaming your radio but retain the functionality of your iPhone AND you don't have to worry about being stuck in a contract.

Yes its a con. If its a fair use policy shurely they should declare what is fair use? I had the same issue. I use spotify. I am on a month to month contract and told them write to me like that again and I just move to another provider. Thus no more problems.

Youre lucky as ive just had my phone barred from the internet for using 0.3gb in 15 days :rotfl:

Im on a unlimited web bolt which ive had for 2 years..Argued the toss that 0.3gb aint much and what is their fup but he wouldnt tell me (probably aint one but.......)

All he kept on going about im streaming i.e tv and radio (very bad NOT ALLOWED) which i never do so im slightly !!!!ed off as im not going to have any internet on my phone for the next 2 weeks :mad:

Btw ive only gone once over 1gb (1.1gb last month) before that i average 0.6gb and annoying they didnt have the time tell me as i could of used it less this month.
