You dont get the 3gb internet from resellers but..........

You need to call t-mobile and ask them to change it to android 3gb internet package, act a bit dumb and make out you were told i was expecting 3gb and booster.
BTW Its NOT guaranteed at all they will change it but a few have been lucky, i guess be nice and hope you get a understanding person on the other end.

to be honest they have to change it becuase they dont know where you bought the phone, just tell them you bought from t mobile and are checking what your net allowance is

As in several people have tried and only a few have been successful?
I'd like some more info on this as I'd been planning to do that but am now a bit wary.

I have been thinking that as soon as you receive the phone after buying online you can instantly ring up tmobile and try to upgrade the limit, if no dice then send it back to the retailer under the cooling off period, that way you only lose out on postage. Then if the 3gb limit means that much to you order direct from Tmobile?

Looks like this phone can drop its signal at the touch of a finger:

I'd assume there wont be as much fuss as with the iPhone, given the lower media profile of generic Android phones. Still worth considering though, although it probably won't be an issue in real world use, just as the iPhone issue doesn't affect me no matter how hard I try.
looks like a grounding problem just like the iphone 4.

looks like samsung tried too hard to copy the iphones characteristics  :rotfl:

on a serious note, the galaxy s comes in different versions. does the uk version come with the metal rim?? grounding might be a problem with metal bits. some versions of the galaxy s in usa come in a plastic body, i doubt those versions will be affected by grounding probs like this. i dont know where the antenna is located for this handset.

I've had a reply from TM.
Thanks for your email asking me about the FUP that you get on the flexible boosters on the Android phone. I'll certainly advise you.

I'd like to tell you that you'd get a 3GB FUP, when you buy the handset through us.

However if you're buy the handset through the stores you'd get 1GB FUP.
    something missing

I used their contact us button on the website.

I'm sure their systems records a store id or something that indicates where the service contract was made.
