Try not to feel down, it's a positive thing that you're doing, you were so upbeat a couple of posts ago when you were sending everything back! I think you need to work out what you've aleady paid off and put a crossed out but in your sig! And maybe work out a percentage or something! We MSEs do love numbercrunching don't we?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

The bit you want to cross through you write [ strike] text [ /strike] around it (without the spaces after the brackets) or there is a strike option in advanced reply rather than quick reply. So the text above would appear as [strike]text[/strike]

Hi all,
Well I had a lovely time in Lille and didn't spend as much money as I thought we would. My parents have been here all week and my friend arrives tomorrow, so there has been a lot of eating out and day trips.
I still have to get through 2 weddings and a trip home to Ireland and I don't know how we will make the money stretch. I think we will end up dipping into the credit card TBH as I can't see any other way to do it.
Hope everyone else is wellTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hi all,
Just paid £35 off my store card so have amended my sig. I also have some money to pay off credit cards, but like I said, it will the minimum amount this month as we have 2 weddings to go to!
Had a good chat to OH about money in general last night and we both have agreed to cut back as much as we can so we can pay off lots of money.
He has also started to do up his CV in preparation to getting a job and moving home to IrelandTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Erm, no, I'm nervous. I never drempt of the big white wedding, and I'm not looking forward to being the centre of attention at all. Am looking forward to the honeymoon though, and being NIMs wife. Just not the day itself. Might be looking forward to it more if we could afford it without my grandad having to lend us some of the money, but thats what happens.
My other grandad alled today and said he'll buy us a piece of furniture for our wedding present, so chuffed to find we might be able to have a proper bed a few weeks after the wedding to replace the airbed we have lined up.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

My sister wasn't looking forward to the centre of attention thing either (she got married in June) but on the day she loved walking down the aisle etc etc because everyone that was there was so happy for herself and her husband.
Try to forget about the loan from your Grandad. You have done amazingly well already with regards money and it will be paid back in no time.
Myself and my OH spent the first 5 weeks in our flat on an air bed. We were so glad to see the proper bed being delivered! Ha ha!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
