Warm and muggy here again today - had hardly any sleep last night because it was too icky even with the ceiling fan going full belt and only a strappy top on and knicks - could have slept au naturel but DD's BF stayed the night :o

Got some things to finish in the garden found a bush that has come through from next door and it is on runners and has just taken over one corner of the garden so I will get DS to dig out as much as he can, then I will finish it off with some oober weed killer so I plan to do that after some lunch (prawns, salad and mayo :D yum)

Redruby..... hope your doggy is ok x

Candy..... ((Hugs)) for Buddy when our pets have to have a liquid we use a babies medicine syringe our chemist always has some

jc ...love the description of DD it did make me giggle :rotfl::rotfl:

Dinner tonight is sweet chilli chicken with salad :) followed by raspberry mousse.

well I am off to nom my prawns take care all x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Well hummus made, veggie chilli portioned up and in fridge/freezer, wash done, dishes done, floors hoovered and mopped. Just need to wash and get ready and I can leave the house! Before you all think I'm some sort of superwoman I must point out that I live in a tiny 1 bedroom flat!

I also have the dreaded smear this week. But then, I don't have much dignity left, having had kids! :rotfl:

If you've got it flaunt it ;)
Anyway what's this thing called dignity you speak of? Having had a male consultant for lumps in my breasts, 2 kids, smears and coil fittings etc I suspect there are only a chosen few who've yet to see the ladygarden or the puppies with the pink noses :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Boy is it muggy here. I am too hot in my jeans so I might give a trial run to my footless tights I bought at the weekend. Nervous about wearing them since it's soooooo not me but picked up some long length tops and they look better with legging/tights than jeans.

Just been googling what mosquito larvae look like as my mums water butt is teeming with them :eek::eek: There are hundreds of them so am going to pour veg oil on the surface to kill them <shivers at the thought of them>

I guess I ought to go and do some cleaning now booooooo :(

JC - love the description of your family life - sounds like a mad house, I love it :D

    Afternoon All,

Hugs to those who are sad or poorly.

JC your description sounds like my crazy family and made me laugh:rotfl:

Sorry but I am going to rant * why is it that I know I need to lose 3 stone I desperately want to lose 3 stone but I just can't do it:mad: I start again every day but it never works out and I end up feeling pi**ed of and disappointed and a total failure. I am a reasonably sane intelligent woman who has achieved lots so why do I find this so fri**in mpossible*

Sorry rant over, I just find it so frustrating. I am seriously considering hypnotherapy, has anyone tried this for weight loss?

    A healthy turkey stirfry for tea:o I am a trier:o

Very heavy and overcast today ao will save the washing until tomorrow. Off to read my scary book that I can't read at night time or it keeps me awake!:rotfl:

I'm afraid I can't help with that one but when you reach enlightenment and gain the answers you seek...stick a note on my fridge door would ya? :D (I'm guaranteed to see it there....)

    Boom, boom! from JC :D;)

Maybe what you need to do, Julie, is tell yourself you need to lose a pound? Just a pound, that's all, and do it pound by pound. I have a serious amount of weight to lose, and a pound wouldn't even register on me, it would be like the effect on a normal person from shaving their legs :rotfl: so I am doing it half a stone at a time. As for hypnosis, I am doing Paul McKenna, and it is helping, I think, but I am doing WW alongside it. The craving buster is certainly my best friend atm. :D

    Afternoon all

It's absolutely pouring down here and has been all day :(

I had a fab morning at work :D we had a local health service come in to speak to the kids and they brought lots of props including beer googles and blue plastic willies :rotfl: cue teenage boys acting very mature!! :rotfl:. This afternoon wasn't too great, had to go to workshop for a course but we were all told the wrong time so the man wasn't too pleased with us and had to rush the session cos he had to go somewhere else . It was a 40min drive away for me and the session lasted 20mins! I wasn't in the right frame of mind anyway cos my colleague was due to have his op this afternoon but turns out they have postponed it as they want to do few more tests first.

Jc - my mum has fibromyalgia. It took 2 years to be diagnosed. She has good and bad days. Hope you feel better, and your DS.
JackieG - thanks, I'm trying not to think about it!
    Bitsy - :rotfl:
Julie - I feel exactly the same! I'm useless at sticking to my diet but plan to stat again in a week (I'm away for a long wknd)

I'm going to spend few hours prepping for interview then I'm going to cwtch up with a magazine and mindless tv.

I'll probably not sleep much tonight cos I'll be worrying, but all I can do tomorrow is my best. At least I have a job already which I love so I won't be disheartened if I don't get it.

Very little OS here again sorry :o I've got Pizza Express pizza for tea (half price in Morrisons ;)).

    Have a fab evening all

What you don't realise is the reason you're losing weight is everytime someone whistles you run round pretending to be a chicken
