Quick post this morning, I have to go to Mr T and Aldi for shopping, DD2 will be here Friday, I need to get stuff.

It has rained overnight, the road is wet. OH kept me awake till 4.30am, he was asleep but very restless, so I could not sleep....I got uo and made tea at 2.30 and finished the book I was reading. Had I not just got the guest room ready for the weekend I would have gone and lsept in there.

Sun looks like its coming out. OH is going to work in the garden whilst I am out this morning.

Supper tonight....scotch pie, potato for OH just veg for me

Morning all, jc hope your son feels better and your pain is eased by your new pills.

Woke up to the lovely smell of my veggie chilli bubbling away in the SC and my chickpeas are now soaked ready to do some hummus today. Dinner will be the veggie chilli and rice today and for lunch I'm having cous cous and some roasted tomatoes from the freezer. Off today so loads of tidying and bits to do. I also need to do a wash and buy some toiletries so that means a trip to Savers for me.

Gone slightly over on my grocery budget this month already with 9 days still to go but it was quite a tight one for a five week month so not too traumatised! Have good days all. XXX

jc2703 - I hope the new drug helps your pain and that your son manages to enjoy his birthday.

I found a local psychologist last night and have booked an initial meeting with him for next week. I am prone to depression and anxiety and although have been stable for the last couple of years the car accident has set me off again. The NHS waiting list is over a year and the insurance company are taking forever and a day to fund my therapy so I have decided to take matters into my own hands. It is really expensive, £50 a session and I may not get it back. I do feel a bit guilty about spending all this money as we can't afford it but I just can;t stand feeling this way any longer. I cannot get through the day without crying and don't like constantly seeking reassurance from my family for my anxieties. My partner is very supportive emotionally and about the financial sacrifice we will be making but I guess sometimes health comes before anything else and I have found seeing a psychologist very useful in the past.

No specific MSE plans for today except tracking my items for sale on eBay. Love to all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning.
Rained overnight but trying to brighten up. Off to soft play on a mo.
Bit more housework on the agenda today and I've got a couple of food mags from my neighbour so will try and have a nose at them. Was going to read them last night but watched who do you think you are with Bruce Forsyth. Was good although his great grandfather seemed a bit of a git!!!!
Tea tonight is chicken and pepper cous cous. Shall bung in some corvettes too. Gave several to my neighbour last night as we just can't eat them fast enough

supposed to rain here shortly :mad: its a pain as we're supposed to be having a bbq at work as one of our service users is 40 today.
DH still on his week off so he'll be keeping louie company .
Tea for the chaps is fish, chips and curry sauce(one of their favs)
Mine is quorn burger at work. Not home till 10.30pm tonight so a long day ahead.

Candygirl - hope Buds ear is soon better - is he eating now? x

He's reluctant to eat hun cos I have to put the metacam in his food, so I might squirt it down his throat instead.Just had a battle getting a tablet down him, so bribed him with a jam butty:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

we hide our pills in a chunk of cheese - its eaten before they realise whats in it! plus we used to pretend to eat it ourselves and make out it was delicious then they would wolf it down thinking it was a treat! :Dnever had to give a liquid though.;)

Bitsy I watched WDYTYA last night too, I was quite choked by then end, and was touched to hear he paid for a headstone, even though the old man was a bit of a git! (can I say that on here?)
JC glad for you its not RA, I have it and its not nice, hope its something minor they'ce just overlooked for now, and fingers crossed for your boy being OK, too.

Right, the joiner is in doing my kitchen worktops (very slow!!!) the rellies got to the airport on time this morning, my house is pretty tidy, and I am off to do some light gardening. Might i*on later if I can be bothered Lunch will be some sort of pasta dish, dinner will be carrot lentil and sweet potato soup which is in the SC as we speak, also need to do some baking. I got my physio day mixed up, and it should be now, so I had to cancel that and ask for a new appt I hate doing that, feel really bad about it. I also have the dreaded smear this week. But then, I don't have much dignity left, having had kids! :rotfl:

My DD has not left the house since getting ready this morning yet she looks like a cross between a deranged banshee and a street urchin! Her hair is a scarey mess and she is filthy! I'm assuming its muck from the pea pods she's been eating that smeared all round her face. God help me if anyone from Social services came knocking at the door...DH is in bed, DD looks like she hasn't see water for a week (I swear she was bathed yesterday!) and I'm in my pj's still, DS1 is out impersonating DS2 and DS2...well I'm not sure who's get thrown in the nuthouse first - me or him!
