Cobblers, many posters do have debt, but feel they should be trying to pay back the money they borrowed rather than trying to wriggle out of it.

I agree, there are posters with debt. Equally, there are posters who have NO debt (which is what I actually stated).

Again, I reiterate, the OP has NEVER stated anything about not paying and people are just making assumptions.

PC KENT, if you had bothered to look properly, you should have noticed the OP has been registered for over a year and that the above, was not their first (or second) posting.

People come to thiese forums for help and advice, not to be looked down upon by those more fortunate (or those with a rich mummy and daddy).

Whats it got to do with having debt or not having debt? can you not criticise if you aren't in debt? I've got loads and I still think that this fella is after a loan write off/unenforcablisation...

People come here for help and advice, not criticism.

Why do some people think they are better than others? Perhaps these would feel different when they have lost their jobs and income (and I am actually starting to hope it happens to a few).

Perhaps these people have the same views of those people in IVA (or bankruptcy), afterall, they wontbe paying EVERYTHING that they owe.

Why do you assume that people that repay their debts, or do not have any debts have a rich mummy and daddy? Could it be that they maybe just spent less in the first place and went without a few things?

How true. Many people can manage their spending pretty well and make the best of what they have without handouts or free money as a result of not paying back what they borrowed.

Did I state all those with no debt had rich parents? No, I simply gave it as a reason for some people having no debt.

We know what you meant Oscar...

You are implying anyone who doesn't renege on their debts are from a privileged family who bail them out at a whim.

It seems beyond your comprehension that someone could ever take out a loan, and simply pay it back in accordance with the agreement without help from others.

Again that is not what I stated and simply your interpretation. There are many people on here that need to understand that circumstances change - such as loss of employment and therefore a reduction in income, and lets face it, the credit industry does very little to help such customers.

People alos keep stating, you signed the agreement, you agreed to the T&Cs etc ..... so the companies knew exactly which doors they were leaving open
